Ladder-leaders Port Adelaide host premiership threat Richmond Tigers in a crucial clash at Adelaide Oval. Join The Roar for live scores from 4:35pm (AEST).

Port Adelaide have been top of the ladder for the entire season so far, and have managed to continually prove doubters wrong. They have won four of their last five with their only slip up being a shock loss at this ground to St Kilda. They’ve faced mediocre sides in Melbourne and the Doggies the past fortnight, comfortably winning both. Tonight is a mammoth test though, coming up against the reigning premiers.

Richmond themselves have been superb form of late, securing strong wins over both Brisbane and the Bulldogs. Worryingly for the Power, both of those sides – finals contenders in their own right – wilted under the pressure, producing poor performances against a Dustin Martin-led Tigers outfit. Martin, paired with forwards Tom Lynch and Jack Riewoldt, has been in excellent touch, and is very likely to produce another brilliant game tonight.

Besides the Saints loss, the Power have won their other two clashes at home this season. The Tigers haven’t visited Adelaide this season, but did play two games here last year: winning one over Port and losing another to the Crows.

Not against all teams who are visiting. Very different to playing against teams who share your ground.

I haven't looked too closely but we are not in the top 4 now and yet to play Geeling and West Coast who are likely also top 4. So just a matter of numbers.

How come Richie? What worries you? The draw or current injuries?

What was funnier Richmond had to double check with their legal consul with Chol (I sort of get that due to OSH rules). I had a good chuckle with Chol's statement that he wasn't offended but wasn't a good look for the kids! Hugh R should get a life and go to a pub and watch a bunch of blokes horsing around with their mates on Friday or Saturday night. Fair dinkum with the snowflake culture! Richmond suffered from the 4 day break a bit and I wouldn't write them off still as they have players still to come back into their side!

Is it possible they just leave them there in Perth Neil? If so, that’s a big advantage?

Precisely. You summed it up pretty well Wayne.

I'm being sarcastic, it was way overblown by that stupid question by Hugh Rim trying to infer a racism incident in that is ok because Chol is black. IMO they were horsing around after a good win and forgot about the change room cameras!

12 home games in a 17 round season sounds like several Victorian sides who play 17 games at their home ground (the MCG) in a normal season. Collingwood and Richmond for example.

Unsafe workplace involving racism and sexual harassment caused the loss!

Nearly ruining the league with breaking quarantine, demanding ridiculous over entitled stuff from the league, assaulting a team mate viciously with fingers inbetween cheeks, whacking a port defender In the goolies and not even scoring in the final quarter......so much to be proud of this week Richmond supporters and if that sort of stuff is what makes you proud it really shows a sad state of affairs.
