Not wanting to be the first to lose to a winless Adelaide Crows, the Western Bulldogs will be looking for another victory at Metricon Stadium today. Join The Roar for live scores from 1:05pm (AEST).

The Western Bulldogs are in trouble. Forever an inconsistent side, they have lost three successive games, all against finals contenders (Brisbane, Port Adelaide and Richmond).

With all but one of their defeats coming over four goals or more this year, the Bulldogs tend to lose big. They have garnered two wins from their last five clashes, over the Suns and Essendon, but have slipped four points out of the eight. That equation makes this a genuine must-win clash.

Fortunately for Luke Beveridge, his side will start heavy favourites over Adelaide – who have not won at any venue, against any opposition this year. They had produced some brighter form against recent opponents – leading at half time against Collingwood, pushing Essendon to the end of the game, decent in patches against North and Melbourne – but the Crows remain a bad football side with not a lot of light at the end of the tunnel.

Adelaide obviously have no wins to show at any venue, but they have tended to perform better at home than interstate this year. The Bulldogs have split the points in their four games at Carrara this season, securing two wins and just as many losses.

Sorry bout the double response - neither were showing on the site so I thought they had disappeared into the ether!

So you think that the wrong people have been moved on? That is odd. Burton was recognised as being the key problem and he is gone. Camporeale had been at the club for some time and has not risen to the top - time to go. I would have kept Pyke (and I believe so would have the club) but he fell on his sword (he did not do anything that other clubs are not doing (more or less). The club is highly profitable under both Chapman and Fagan. Ricciuto adds the football experience to the Board. Many of the players that were moved on in recent years are struggling at their new clubs as well (but you only read about Charlie Cameron (excellent), Lever (average) and Greenwood (not exactly setting the world on fire)). Keath (OK). McGovern? Jenkins? Cam Ellis-Yolman? Jacobs? Eddie? How are those blokes going? A lot of these players left for money and have whinged which is reflective of their intestinal fortitude, not the club.

Whether or not people have failed or succeeded would depend upon what they are responsible for wouldn't it? Exactly what are Chapman, Fagan and Ricciuto in charge of and how have they failed? Making non-specific and broad based comments does not provide any solutions or a pathway forward! I believe that the club is extremely well administered off the field but has performed poorly on the field (of late).

It's the response which l see as a failure. And how can the incumbents be the answer when they oversaw the implementations of what brought us low in the first place. ---- Coach? I don't honestly know. Mainly because l don't like the management. I think Ghengis Khan would've failed.

So no actual issues that have not been addressed to some extent (whether you agree with what change has been made or not). I agree that they need some Toughness around the Football Department (a Neil Balme type) but I do not agree that any of the 3 amigos needs to go (in fact I believe that will be bad for the club if they do go). What “name” did you want to coach Adelaide?

They've been well covered and l know you are across it. We both want the team to do well. ----- I hate seeing Nicks having to front up to those pressers. I don't blame him at all. I think its an indictment that we couldn't get a 'name' to coach us. No-one wanted to touch us. We've basically sacrificed his coaching career. ----- We need an 'emeritus tuff-nut' overseeing it all. Like Chappelli, Charlesworth, Balme, etc. Heck, even get Wayne Bennet. Someone with the conjones to soundboard the coaches inc HC. ----- And you know what l think of the 3 Amigos.

Until they get rid off Taylor Walker they won't be any good.

The crows played with no heart last year - there is a weakness in the Crows that needs to be exorcised. Maybe getting flogged week after week will make them harder/steelier in the end and give them a heart.

Well this is the manifestation of it all. Decisions done in 2015-17 coming to bite us now. If we truly don't acknowledge it, it will fester our revival.

Yes to mismanagement. Nicks was a lamb to the slaughter. We've hung onto to non-performers. We through stupid decisions lost some good players, some ok and some not to AFL standard. ---- Clubs don't go this bad by playing list alone. We had Pyke, Birdman and Campo go, why haven't the hubristic Trio gone? I know Chapman is about to go but it should've been ages ago. They got Pyke. He got their approval. If that's the type of thing they wanted they should've gone when it failed ----- It p!$$€$ me off. I got sacked for not bashing a kid. And these guys are responsible, for the worst fall (2011-20) and don't resign.

Has there ever been a club that's been run as poorly as the Crows in the past few years?from Grand finalist to possibly the worst AFL team ever in that time, I'd be spewing if I was a Crows fan. That's some achievement, as much as I like Roo he needs to go, Fagan should fall on his sword as well. Gotta feel sorry for Nicks his senior coaching career is all but destroyed because they've treated all their talent so badly, I don't know if he can coach or not, so far none of the kids are coming on, Fogarty has gone backwards, Jones is dropped, Henry is doing bugger all, McCasey is being hung out to dry. If what I'm hearing is true they value age more than talent with their payment structure as well, so if you are young and a star, you're always going to get paid more at other clubs. No wonder they lose anyone that's any good

There's not a club in the country that would touch Tex Walker, not one.
