By The Roar / Editor

Is Daniher worth two top-10 picks from Sydney?

If the Essendon make Joe Daniher stay, I hope Joe sticks it up them and moves to Sydney anyway and just collects his pay and enjoys his life outside of the footy, can you imagine being told by your current employer that you can’t leave town and that you have to live here or there, look at the end of the day its just a game of footy and life is far more important than a game. I know if I was a player and was looking in from the outside I wouldn’t want to go to the bombers if they stopped Joe going to where he wants. And to say the players at Essendon are trying to put a stop to this trade going through, I don’t think so, I think Essendon are trying to squeeze every bit out of a trade deal they can. As if they really care about Joe, just another cow.

Jobe . . . just as dull as dad. If this view is widely held at Essendon it's little wonder they are so difficult for other clubs to deal with.

In seven years he's played 104 games so it's not so shabby. (From a distance) The 11 games over seasons 18 and 19 tells you about his durability and maybe the Bombers training, conditioning and selection. He averages 1.8 goals per game and six marks, also better than average. Top five, nah, top fifty , yeah.

What a dumb comment from Jobe.............as has already been said...........showed a bit yes, but: inconsistent, injury prone, hasn't played much in two years, clumsy as a new born foal.........I could go on. Sydney should back away, let him play a stellar season for the bombers next year to prove his worth, then simply have him step up to his desire to come to them once out of contract.

He's worth a second round pick. Injury prone and not that good. Showed flashes of promise and nothing more.
