By The Roar / Editor

Buddy’s wait for 1000 goals could be delayed after this incident with Luke Ryan.

It should be 2 weeks minimum for an elbow to the head. The AFL are in a bind now due to very weak penalties for previous elbow strikes this year. It ie a bad sign when a professional sport can not conduct a decent penalty tribunal.

Medium impact? I guess that's the only way to argue it down. Who else has had medium impact this yeasr? The Pickett one I think?

Great player that he is the Budstar has to go. AFL credibility on the line as well. Dislike seeing flying elbows, but would like to see someone remonstrate with a fair bit of energy.

Should get at least a week for the charge on Wilson. Dangerous play and had plenty of time to pull out. The elbow at least another week. Great player but plenty of examples of his hot head. BUT this is the AFL and will probably get a 'severe reprimand' & a token fine AGAIN.

He should, but he won't. The 1,000 goal story is much too important to the AFL.

He'll get a week or two. Was literally doing it all day. There was a late spoil early on and it looked like he concussed Pearce in a tackle later.

He’ll cop a fine. Soft.

Franklin has always got away with a lot over his career, great player but can be dirty.

Will he cop a week suspension? Who knows? I gave up trying to understand the AFL crime and punishment logic years ago.
