'That's dangerous': Could Jeremy McGovern cop a week for this nasty incident?

It’ll be interesting to see what Michael Christian makes of this one.

We know it’s not Govs fault but the reason why he got reported is because of how serious the push was. But I dought he will get suspended because the push was in field .

That should prevent a suspension but the fact Guelfi was unable to play out the full game because of Gov’s action will probably draw a fine.

Again you make no sense, Macca and I engaged in debate and he didn't sway my opinion but stoked your a fan of his. You went beyond banter a longtime ago I just returned your serves, for a bloke who demands being able to call ppl at footy matches whatever you like geez your thickness of skin is minimal.

Whatever Matti, i am not going to get into the personal attacks, like you attacked Macca earlier . I think your still sulking because he destroyed you in the debate. A bit of banter by all means.

Your changing your tune there Mr broken ribs. Believe you also mentioned he had concussion aswell which was false. I just said you need to wait last night and not assumptions. Stop trying to include a very different subject and C'mon you are such a big supporter of those good ol days one minute then a sooky next moment. Best you stick to guiding your grandson away from gambling.

Its not about the injury, he was reported by the umpire for deliberately ramming the guy into the fence which was a low act. You were wrong about the taxi to, he was being taken to hospital (my call) and looked very sore. Warrant's a week. You were calling for evicting fans yelling at the umpire last week. The Guv's act was worse.

Lol, guelfi cleared of any injury and is flying home. Nice broken ribs mate. You should always wait for the correct info instead of shooting off.

Where were the Bad Behavior Officers , he deliberately rammed the guy into the fence and broke his ribs should have been escorted from the ground. The Guv has been very agro the last couple, remember the''wobbly'' . A week to think about his bad behavior, its not like him. Send off rule probably stamp out this Bad Behavior.

I always hate this “bumping” of someone off balance and getting a kick away There are some big name players who specialise in it I think it’s Pretty unimpressive Why not smother. Stop the ball going upfield?

Two things to be considered by the MRO. Was Guelfi still inside the boundary when he was bumped and why did McGovern choose to bump instead of tackle when the player was so close to the boundary line. I think they will take into consideration that the injury to Guelfi caused him to miss a part of the game. It is something we see often but not many result in injuries. IMO he will be fined.

Normally it'd be odds on that Shuey lingered low to draw a free, but in this instance it looks like a genuine case of him going after the ball, as was Bellchambers who looks like he merely turned to follow the ball and not deliberately turn to bump at all.

Bellchambers act later in that quarter where he deliberately turned his hip to bump Shuey in the head/ neck was 100x worse but because there was no injury it will be fine. Might as well ban all contact from the game.

I recall Voss breaking Lenny Hayes hand by tackling him into the advertising boards. Don't think he got suspended for that.

I didn't think there was all that much in it. Nothing more than we see every week from players. He'll probably get a week because of the outcome of the injury but the action itself there wasn't much in it.

It shouldn’t matter, it was still in play. The other players even thought it was still in play. It’s not his fault there was a chair there. How many dodgy deliberate acts do we see not reported, which are apparently all good, just because the victim luckily didn’t get hit in the right part of the head
