Port plays all their home games at Adelaide oval in Adelaide. Richmond plays all their home games in Melbourne. North plays in Melbourne and Tassie BY CHOICE and because they GET PAID to play there.

Would the suns ever have to play a "home" final at the gabba due to greater capacity? Ditto for gws at scg or anz stadium? I think not. Yet is different rules for Geelong
It is what it is, but the status quo will never change unless you have the courage, and more importantly, the tenacity to continue calling it out.
If the AFL wants to become a truly professional competition, that isn’t laughed at by half of the Australian population, then it should take heed of the comments made by one of our more decorated AFL coaches.

He is right, totally right. It is completely unfair. If the Lions, Eagles, Crows, Swans, Giants, Dockers, Power, Suns (yeah well), finish top, they all play the QF at home. Cats don’t, instead, play it at the Pies home ground, which is completely unfair. The 23 round season ends with it making Zero difference for the Pies finishing 1st or 4th. Zero.
A couple of years ago, when this same issue raised it's head, Scotty didn't care. It looks like he's had a change of heart. Scotty really has an issue with speaking out of his @rse.

MCG and marvel are both in Melbourne and Richmond is a Melbourne team. Geelong is not a Melbourne team. They are from Geelong.
