A video on social media is going viral after police told Australian and England players they were making too much noise after celebrating the end of The Ashes series.
The video shows Australian players Nathan Lyon, Alex Carey and Travis Head sitting at a rooftop bar alongside Joe Root and Jimmy Anderson.
The police are almost apologetic about having to break up the ‘party’ and can be heard saying, “Bit too loud, we were asked to come,” before asking the players to pack up and head out of the venue.
It comes after Usman Khawaja posted video of the night before celebrations when the Aussies and Barmy Army were singing alongside each other.
THE ECB HAVE CONFIRMED THEY’RE NOW INVESTIGATING THE MOMENT.

This comment isn't a joke it's an insult. my brother's a cop and he's had to work his a**e off thanks to the morons who think they know better than the health experts. He's got way better things to do with his time than have to manage idiots.

jeff a bit serious . just pointing out some statistical inconsistencies with your claims . any of our issues will be your issues in 14 days probably worse at some point for wa at some point . one Australia Jeff alongside a little light hearted humour as things aren’t too bad over here the tennis was great today no one to worried about anything as people realise the rules and regs are receding outside of the valiant hospital workers

Judging by the way they were dressed, for every you lost drinking game you had to put on a piece of the English uniform.

Knowing your limitations makes you a good man, but there's no harm in trying to reset the boundaries.

Does that mean I'm a bad man for being happy to give it a try or a good man for calling stumps early?

6am's a bit late to be having a whinge isn't it? Maybe they were getting angry at the 4,756th rendition of "Beneath the Southern Cross I Stand".

I'm curious as to why Root has one of Lyno's shirts around his neck? They're in the bar of their hotel - reckon some of the people in the executive suites must have had something to say :stoked:

wa had no covid . wa now holding out for no good reason . open the border Jeff . it’s time to get on with it . I am impressed with the stats tho . if we analyse the per Capita with covid to per Capita to fine ratio we see wa may still be more of a nanny state as had no covid so had more fines for frivolous matters than Vic . also take in to account population . some concerns about the wa data there considering smaller population and no covid cases

I guess where ever they were also had a pretty relaxed dress code if players were still in their whites. I'm sure they showered before stepping out.
