True, I see The Windies as a big danger game. If they are on song, with a moving ball, it could get ugly for us. Frankly, I see the Paki and Kiwis, along with The Windies, as our most riskiest, fraught, games. We know what we are going to get with India and England.

Definitely so I think. There was talk prior to the tournament from England about backing themselves to knock off any target. As The Bush says, they obviously feel more comfortable chasing.

Root and Butler both looked gassed after getting to their hundreds after a lot of hard running turning ones into twos and quick singles. Pakistan laid a perfect trap for them as they were tired and relaxed and both didn't last long after the milestones. Great effort by Pakistan, well earned. England's batting is very good, their bowling maybe not so much.

Pakistan: The most unpredictable team in World Cricket. Don’t bet on them or against them.

I think they just like chasing full stop.

Normally if 2 of your batsmen score centuries, you'd expect to win a game of one day cricket.

I reckon it they were trying to show to everyone that whatever their opponent scores, they'll be able to run it down. Backfired spectacularly.

Indeed, it might be more common to score 300+ runs chasing these days but it doesn't mean it's easy.

Why England bowled first on a track they plundered 481 only last year, I'll never know. Is runs on the board not a thing anymore? The value of bowling first due to the 10:30 starts might be a touch overhyped...

So true. West Indies and Pakistan are two of the toughest teams to prepare for. Just no rhyme or reason to how they play. Wahab Riaz bowling like that on a batsman friendly pitch when guys like Jofra Archer struggled was incredible.
