I through the bait out but there wasn't a bite. The concluding remark was Smith was pretty close to being cheered by the Lord's crowd last night...if he had been carried off on a stretcher. Indeed he was probably a heartbeat away (his last) from receiving rapturous applause.
As DW and CB were selected, after their punishment had expired, I welcomed their selections. The powers that be had spoken.

Both are now floundering and I was hoping against hope they’d set it alight. They haven’t. If they are dropped for the 3rd I’d not be surprised.

However as DW was the instigator I thought his inability to own up to his part in the sandpaper issue would come back to bite him. It has. If you don’t cut the rust out it’ll bubble thru the paint.

I think the Joffra Genie is out and I don’t think our openers are in the right headspace to deal with this obvious threat.
Still quite poor. But they haven’t seen a man die from a cricket ball so I suppose you can excuse their depraved caustic inhumanity.
That’s the adjectives l use.
Me too. Archer, Wood and Stone could be interesting.
Oh you meant the Aussie crowds giving it to the English players...as if that doesn’t happen literally every time they tour.
Ah yes England. The team that has dined out for years on the back of their story about rubbing lolly juice on the ball to induce more swing - ball tampering in other words. Those who boo only bring more discredit to an already discredited nation of self confessed cheats.
Horrible sportsmanship from the crowd; I was at the SCG when Graeme Smith returned to the field in order to save a match after having sustained a broken arm; he received a standing ovation. At Lords loud booing erupted

After Britain leaves the EU maybe they could join the human race. Just a thought.

It seems like, just from what I've read/listened to today, the booing came from a very small number, but still obviously noticeable.

They’ll fade in the flat pitches.
