Very well said, Jacko - very well said indeed. I do hope grassroots coaches across Australia read your comment. They're, after all, the ones that shape the culture of the next generation of Australian cricketers.
and also IPL ... dont know why he keeps bringing it up when sledging...

What and where is this "LINE" people talk about...If someone started calling me a D...head at a sporting venue I would say thats over the line....What gives Austrailian...and many other cricket nations, the right to put people down in public? I dont believ any insults are acceptable and we ask kids not to do this so why cant the older people be the adults?

He acted like a child......Crazy dumb and juvenile....He is way better than this but seems as tho his disagreement with the DRS system is getting to him.....
Really? Is it even necessary to “sledge” when you’re on top? How about just winning with grace like the Brits (who actually invented this beautiful game) taught us to?
Paine did it to himself. I can see you sledging if you’re winning and on top of your game. But the Aussies were struggling and he couldn’t catch a cold out there
Very poor comments by Paine not worthy of captain he was rewarded well with the drop in the next over.
His true sportsmanship has been on display throughout the test. another sandpaper gate will happen soon.
He didn't cross the line, but it was crass and juvenile.
What's becoming more and more apparent is that he has a tailor made excuse everytime he's called out on something...
Just throw the hands up and say "my bad". He'd get more respect that way.

It's because he's envious. He knows no-one is ever going to offer him a contract. Let's face it he's lucky to make the Tasmanian side.

Because ,he never did and never will get a contract. That probably irritates him.

I can't believe he actually said that he knows he's been doing a "fine job" over the last couple of years. Since when did he become so stuck up?

The article is self criticizing a person. Why are indians getting involved?

Fair point - but the articles doesn't mention team India - why bring them up.

Right, there was no point. And he made himself look like a fool by doing that considering he dropped three catches and cost Australia the game.
