The better one back at Kohli was "you still have to bat big head" - if big was the word used (that's a bit unclear). Can't believe what Kohli said to him first (I'm the best player in the world and you're a stand in captain).
Kohli has picked the wrong mark. Paine is well ahead in the banter stakes. He seems to have left the rest of them alone and is aiming at our skipper. Interesting. Kohli is coming across as an arrogant sook, and Paine with some class and some sass.
All the banter from us basically is directed as a retort to Kohli. Kohli is the one who wants to get into it and Paine has shown how to stand up to a guy like that without stepping over the line.
I do laugh and be scared at the same time by comments from Indian fans on twitter along the lines of "Kohli is a better player than you so you are not allowed to talk back to him"
Maybe is is a cultural difference but I would never abide by an attitude like that. It is basically star worship of the worst kind.

Oh, that’s right, every single fawning toady that surrounds them every day and backs them regardless of behaviour. If you want to dish it out you have to be prepared to cop it. Paine has every right to stick up for himself, and i thought this cheeky comment on Kohli’s boorish, bullyboy behaviour was gold.
Why he should be upset?
As far as I have seen, I did not see any childish behaviour type celebration, gestures to stand from Paine.
If there was no Mic, nobody would have even know what was the talk about.
And for kohli, same guy who started that, was asking why Paine was riled up to him!!
