The Cronulla Sharks host the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs for the first double header of Friday Night Footy. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 6pm AEST.
The Sharks showed great resilience in Auckland to overcome a 12-0 deficit to win 16-12 against the New Zealand Warriors. With a settled lineup once again, the Sharks will be looking forward to putting on a strong performance in front of their home fans to kick start their 2024 home season.
The Bulldogs looked lacklustre in attack, and desperately need their forward pack to step it up against their opponents.
The Sharks love playing at home while questions ponder on how the Bulldogs will come up with points despite a relatively strong defensive performance against the Eels in round 1. Sharks 13+

And just watched Storm get a penalty for a very similar thing, march up field and score!

Yeah right. He's been all over Fox and you're a Tate poster boy. You've probably ripped him off as well and claimed as your own.

Who is Andrew Tate? #Busted!

Oh dear. #eyeroll. There is a significant difference. One is obviously a joke. You're the one 'liking' Andrew Tate clips.

Haha… yeah can be hard to pick up at times in the written word… didn’t want to talk smack about one of your key projects  It should be much better than it is. The seats are close to the game, it’s in a nice spot, passionate fans, but sub 1980s facilities

Maybe the sarcasm didn’t come through :stoked: I actually cited conflict of interest with being a roosters member (to be fair it was outside my typical remit anyway) and punted it to an unsuspecting junior

It has the potential, but the units cut too far into the ground and the stands It’s pretty cool seeing people up on the balconies watching the footy The Eastern grandstand is completely dilapidated. It’s a wreck…

My team worked on some of the financing so I think it's a great balance of residential and public space...

They’re all massive pests The ground here is so messed up. Looks like a junkyard. Units everywhere. grandstand on one side holds about 500 people

Corporate at Sharks... harsh it's like Jetstar business class. Thankfully you've got as much chance of bumping into a troublesome shire fan as ScoMo has at his farewell dinner.

It’s worse… I’m sitting in the corporate hospitality marquee 10 of us. 9 sharks fans. Maybe three Dogs fans out of 400 people

Dogs would have beaten the Broncos last night with that. But that was probably the bottom of the barrel for the Broncos

Dogs were very good tonight, performances like that will win them many more games than last year. Super happy with last weeks resilient Cronulla win, just as good this week… profressional by the sharks, the sort of win that separated them from the top 4 last year because they couldn’t put in a full 80. 2 weeks in a row they’ve done it , well done sharkies  Up Up!

FULL TIME CRO 25 CBY 6 Make no mistake, the scoreline does not reflect how close of a contest this was. The Bulldogs showed more urgency in attack and defence, but ultimately the quality was lacking. As the game went on, the Sharks found their feet and ran away with it. Craig Fitzgibbon will be a pleased man having seen his playing group defend their way to victory. The Dogs may be 0-2, but they’re showing good signs compared to 2023

That's 2 weeks in a row the Sharks have held their opponents scoreless in the second 40 mins. That's impressive.

Brave trip though this early in the season with the team perhaps not favoured to win

I thought the rule of the shire was "no man enters. No man leaves"
