Just when we thought that the NRL scrum was dead.

I actually think they continued to push after the referee had ruled the scrum clear, but you could also put that down to momentum. On first watch I thought for sure they had broken early , but after watching it numerous times that is all I can see wrong with it.

I didn’t see anything even borderline illegal. Nothing wrong with pushing in a scrum. They scored because the Knights scrum scattered

That was sweet Took me a while to work it out last night. Where did Edwards come from? He didn’t feed the scrum. He wasn’t packing in at lock. Did he slip round from the blindside? There he is, second row!!!

Gotta love a good scrum move. We just need more scrums .

About time they learnt some tricks ! They have suffered at the hands of smarter others for years.

Note the push from the Penrith scrum and its direction! After watching a few Penrith games I'm becoming of the view that Penrith are the new "Melbourne" in the way they are pushing the boundaries of the rules and refs and seem to be just a little ahead of the refs in their interpretation of the rules. Their markers are often jumping just a little early, their outside backs pick their times to jump just a little offside to force the opposition to play away from that side, and they jump just a little early to put pressure of kickers. Add to that they often do not get up fully to play the ball and often take a couple of steps forward after the tackle has been called. All things that are aiming at being minor so refs don't call penalties against them but also so refs call 6 again for them. So Melbourne.

Not bad, full back in the scrum's second row.
