Sadly I bag the officials regularly but I certainly feel for them. My hate is more for coaches that encourage the edge of the rules to the detriment of the game. Robinson lives in this world and it’s infuriating to hear him going off because he lost. These coaches make a mockery of the actual internet of rules for an advantage. Tedesco falling into Burr and slapping his own head yelling at the ref for 10 in the bin? Running to the sideline grabbing a free interchange and running back on rubbish. Another is the 1 man strip that’s actually a 3 man move? The rule was intended to let people strip if a man fell off a tackle not a gang up and contrive a rolling mall. Obstruction was so teams weren’t disadvantaged by attackers deliberately getting in the way so now we have players running angles to exploit the inside shoulder collision and defender playing the man not the ball like Marshal, Tedesco, Walker and Walsh have done.
