When even Gus Gould has questioned whether he should retire me thinks he needs to consider it

He’s also a trained detective that uncovered a race fixing scandal! And a Management Consultant that could fix the NRL budget with accurate costing assessments from afar. Oh and a seasoned diplomat specialising in race relations

Johns is obviously smarter than his detractors give him credit. He has a medical degree specialising in 2 areas ; the effect of too many head knocks on the brain & the effect of illicit drugs on the ability to cast intelligent comment.

Cop out from Johns. The people criticising the management of Cordner last week by NSW have been proven correct by the fact he will not play in the remaining games as a result of that concussion. It's incredibly straight forward. They stuffed up.

I think Boyd’s issues may run a bit deeper, but not Dr Joeys role to comment or cast judgement.

he would be able to cope with the hard time people would give him if he did that. Great idea though.

Disagree. When a player with a history of concussions wobbles off the field with assistance from two trainers and then miraculously returns and then needs to be rested the next week for effects of a head knock (which any doctor will tell you is a expression synonymous with concussion) then people are right to legitimately question the roles people played. Johns - an NSW stalwart - was obviously going to defend the "process".

I'm sort of searching for the relevance of a television entertainer's personal opinion. He should come on here.

Have to agree and say it is quite annoying seeing everyone commenting on what Boyd should do with no expertise in the field whatsoever. This should be left to the professionals who know exactly what Boyd has been through.
