Can you offer any comment that doesn’t use the logical fallacy of the straw man? Marcia Langton?? Is that you?

The AFL shouldn’t sit in silence: why it should support the Voice at the Grand Final

Tony, yes they do.

You can’t name a single law or policy that treats aboriginal people negatively based on their race. There is no society on the planet with such protection of equality. We get it, you a “vibe” voter based on baseless emotion. The rest of us, that is, the strong majority of Australians, think a little deeper than that.

Don’t know, vote no, is a succinct comment on the deceitful lack of detail put forward by Albo. His whole strategy has been to pretend the referendum is about “recognition”. That was their scheme for attempting to fool Australia, but fortunately, we are all far smarter than Albo and his advisers. If the man had a shred of dignity, he would resign on Oct 15 for the damage he has done.

No. They know the price and bought a ticket to the ride.

12-12 errors.

It’s what we have come to expect from this expert…

Was way too heavy and looked to be going dead for all money until a fortuitous bounce.

The error count was all square. The opposition playing better than you will often lead to lots of missed tackles…..

The ref didnt ignore it, he made a verbal call of play on because he observed that the marker was square.

😂 Penrith aren’t super human…ask the Eels. Broncos just flogged a perennial contender while not at their best…Penrith are worried you can count on that.

Great game to watch. So many exciting players coming through for both teams.

Fa’alogo looked great, but that try was incredibly dubious. Apart from the grounding, he received a pass from a tackled player and it should have been called up then and there. The player was sitting on the ground including one hand on the ground, with two players around his legs. Crazy lapse from the officials.

If you can see an intent to hurt in any of those instances, you are seeing things and not making a reasonable judgement.

No his idea is about punishing the player, not the team or the fans.

Tests generally get more difficult to bat in the 4th innings due to pitch deterioration. However, this pitch was made to order for an England 4th innings chase. It is an absolute road now. How sweet it would be to see their made to order pitch come back to bite them.

Implicit in your comment is the suggestion that they aren’t being compensated fairly. What do you base that on? Because Clint Newton says so???

'Gorging on the game’s own meat': NRL and RLPA not reading the room as fans in the real world struggle to make ends meet

Clint Newton, like all Union leaders, is in it for himself. A below average player and woefully out of his depth an his current position. To take such drastic actions, against the contracted obligations on the basis of 50 blokes is absurd. Clint if you are fair dinkum, have a secret ballot of your “members”. I suspect there is a very good reason that you haven’t.

If they were going to drop him, and they should, it should have been before the Ashes. They are committed to this now and will keep him for the remainder sadly. He is years long into poor form.

Turning a blind eye to Warner’s woes proving costly for Aussies - as McDonald sticks his head in sand yet again

Cummins contribution was easily the best bowling contribution from either team in the Ashes so far. People lauding Wood for knocking over 4 tail enders…while Pat was taking out their top order.

Turning a blind eye to Warner’s woes proving costly for Aussies - as McDonald sticks his head in sand yet again

Can you point out another time where a batsmen has nicked a ball that goes on to be caught by first slip? And stands his ground? I don’t think you can…Whereas keepers pinging at the stumps actually does happen in every game….Why don’t you approach the discussion with some honesty???

Yes, it is. It shows the difference between the Australian Cricket culture and the Pommy “culture”. One takes accountability, one pretends they don’t do exactly the same thing, and in fact they celebrate their cheating as a bit of a laugh…

Of course they are happy with the choice. It was great cricket, executed beautifully where the English were unable to execute the same dismissal. Any person of integrity can see the reaction is infantile and about the most hypocritical nonsense in memory. At this point, you would have to assume it is in the pommy DNA.

I think the only surprise, and it is surprising that we are surprised, is the hypocrisy of Poms – well the likes of yourself and the “fans”. Knowledgeably and experienced ex pommy players have almost universally derided the response of the English. I doubt we will ever underestimate the capacity of Poms for hypocrisy though…

You display an incredibly poor handle on the Aussie psyche with every post actually. 😂

UK View: 'Like a virus' - Poms hail 155kph 'Rocket Man' but float bizarre Steve Waugh theory for butterfinger blows

Yes “thinking it as wrong” displays a collective lack of knowledge on Cricket, and a general lack of self awareness from the Pom supporters. That a routine play in Cricket, one that their own boy routinely attempts could cause the snowflakes to melt down is a national embarrassment. If the same stumping happened to an Aussie, the derision would be directed at the batsmen…
