My comment still stands, in the end the tahs played as expected, but that opening was great

Yep all of that. They badly need some spark in attack. Edmed doesn't really threaten the line or worry opposition defences. He seems to simply shuffle the ball side to side. Too pedestrian. Coleman has nothing to lose now. I'd like to see Harrison at 10, Marky Mark to 15 and Pietsch returned to the wing and the team given the green light for all out attack. Play everything off 10 and get the forwards bending the line midfield. Jorgensen to come onto to the wing with 20 to go.

Yeah. Both set pieces and D were way below the level. Given four club players in the FR and FR reserves they actually did really well in the scrum but that lineout was unforgivable. Fully agree the D poor too but thought the lineout more fixable (at least quickly). I don’t think Jorgensen can stay at fullback until he’s more physically ready. Harry Wilson back there for me. See if MJ can do better on the wing.

I'd be focusing more on fixing their defence. 30 odd missed tackles is way too many. Edmed, Jorgensen, Harrison and co have to do better at this level. A real concern with the Hurricanes game looming.

Ok so you’re just not being reasonable so it’s not really worth discussing. The original comment said ‘We knew set piece would be a problem with all the front row injuries.’ Only a genuine troll would see take that and somehow turn it into ‘well then forfeit next week’. Grow up buddy
Keggy

Well forfeit next week. Stop moaning about injuries as the reason for the loss.Your malfunctioning lineout missed tackles and anonymous backline D was why you lost. You beat the Crusaders last week with the same front row. Enough of the excuses.

Don’t be an ass. Of course they’re dealing with it. That there are so many injuries in a very specialist position is a reason why we’re struggling.
Keggy
Roar Rookie
Well forfeit next week then or suck it up and deal with the injuries.

Mate, Charlie Cale is too small and inexperienced to be in any Wallaby side for the next year. He would be OK playing against Tier 2 international side but Tier 1 is too big and fast. And what coach would play Cale say against Georgia when they see the sh1tst0rm that caused RA to punt WB coach D.Rennie for the Randwick Idiot? The guy has to grow and learn before one could even think of him in a WB jacket. Mind you, I agree that he is way better than L.Gleeson. But all that means is I don't think either should be in any 26 player squad.

It makes no difference. You’re not supporting the team it’s strange you’re saying who should play. Let’s see how reds gonna go against NZ team :silly:

Jorgo was offered $ 1.8 M for 3 years and says he knocked it back for a 2 year deal. Using simple mathematics, I figure the price would be in the vicinity of 1.2 M (2/3 of 1.8M). I might be wrong but I bet by not much, a good Guess would be between $ 0.9 - 1.2 M which for mine is about 500k too much for a small kid, even if his daddy is mates with the NSWRU board.
