When i heard Tua is out of contract my eyes bulged

Brumbies knock over Hurricanes in statement win as Wright shines again behind forward pack

This is true

Kellaway could be a center, he looks a lot like Adam A-C to me.. Rock solid

Last year i wanted him to bugger off to league but this year he’s largely ditched the howler and I’m glad i don’t make the calls

What can I say.. the narrative shifts a bit, they’re not too small after all, but they still turn to “castrated snails” in NZ..

But you have to pay this. They beat the hurricanes by the skin of a Brumbies’ defender’s hand last year (I was there, Ardie was just arrogant to claim the try and dismiss the review out of hand) this time around the Canes top the table and they pasted them.

There’s something to Larkham and his team, they’re doing some smart things. No doubt.

I think the Reds can do this, the Blues are a bunch of self satisfied pugilists and the reds are by far the most physical Australian team. They also have a very effective attack under Kiss which might be able to unlock the immovable object.
Hard to see too many Australian wins, I don’t think the Brumbies can do it but I would be satisfied if they just freaking carted a few of these slabs of meat right back to their smelly change rooms lol..
I like the Force to keep up the momentum from last week, and it would be sweet to see them performing in front of that raucous crowd that seems to be filled out with cringe worthy local highschoolers..
Rebels going to the Crusaders without LSL? They’re a great team this season but I just don’t know if they have the mentals necessary to win there.. think the occasion will beat them. Might be close run though… Man some of those Rebs are good..
Ah, well, now that I’ve found that I think pretty lowly of every kiwi team, I will now watch them win every matchup and take my lumps!

The Roar's Super Rugby expert tips and predictions, Round 10: No love for Tahs, Crusaders and Rebels split the panel

This is a valid point, the Brumbies just beat the Reds, they’re no basket case, they just haven’t figured out how to be physical in this league without just farming cow-sized people for every position

ANALYSIS: Single biggest issue causing Brumbies headaches - and why it can be traced back to Fisher's departure

I’m pessimistic about the weekend, but I do think they’ll give a better showing. Hope Alan doesn’t get reinjured starting against these physical giants.. Ben Mowen should feel all the pressure in the world to deliver his new system before he spoils Australia’s premier team with indecision and confusion

That was good fun 😀

If Australia is looking for big men, let's not neglect the old and the fat

Nether of them were on the pitch until quite late in the piece though, I did think that was quite a gamble on the part of the coaches: thinking they could hang tight then bring on better replacements.. didn’t come off

Five things: What Beale has over other golden oldies, double pain for Brumbies as Blues expose Australia's biggest weakness

I’ll give him to the end of next season under a different coach i reckon 😛

Brumbies to welcome back Wallabies duo for 'Canes clash after week of soul-searching, Tahs to tweak side for Chiefs

Pietsch looks the goods to me, nobody else on his team has regularly finished, I tend to blame the system.. Mark N is hardly a second Folau v_v let ‘im gooo

Yeah Amatosero is too much of a weapon to be eased in like he has

Right there with you, he’s clearly already repeatedly running straight into contact for 5 meters gain in his mind

Everything you’ve said is fair, I think the point I was trying to make that in general the team was undersized, could have picked a better example than a 1.96m felluh 😛

Brumbies 'systematically taken apart by the Blues' in 'non-contest' as Larkham's men cop huge reality check

Well established that I’m a Brumbies fan, but I think this season the Reds (or even the Tahs if they had more chemistry) are more likely than my Brumbies to win the whole thing.. they have bulk and physicality that the Brumbies seemingly can’t be bothered fostering.. looks like Brad Thorn was on to something defensively and physically, if not offensively, and Kiss has clearly had them all bulk up – none more noticeably than McReight.. yeah, unless the Brumbies sign some giants to complement their savants we’re going to be kiwi team’s bunnies for the foreseeable

Five things: What Beale has over other golden oldies, double pain for Brumbies as Blues expose Australia's biggest weakness

Actually he’s shorter, by quite a way i see here, but he’s definitely less lanky imo

Brumbies 'systematically taken apart by the Blues' in 'non-contest' as Larkham's men cop huge reality check

To be fair Mowen’s defensive ideas seemed to take work when we “be like water”d the Waratahs and handily beat them with a worse tackling percentage…….. But that only works when the matchup is physically even… Looks pretty stupid when your biggest player looks like the younger brother of their 8…

Brumbies 'systematically taken apart by the Blues' in 'non-contest' as Larkham's men cop huge reality check

“We backed our physicality”, that’s it isn’t it? Chiefs did too, clear as day the Brumbies are too small, and they let Samu go and replaced with a (sumptuously talented) oversized #12… Brown is our answer when things need to be physical? He’s about an inch bigger than Slipper lol… Wondering if the Rebels going under might help, we could use Ekuasi, Daugunu.. Carter Gordon..

Nice one! Hamish is mmoney

Beale, Rodda shine on Super Rugby return as Force smash Crusaders to keep finals hopes alive

That was massive fun to watch after the earlier muckfest

Beale, Rodda shine on Super Rugby return as Force smash Crusaders to keep finals hopes alive

Next thing we know they’ll sign Arnold and Skelton 😛 Twiggy’s plan to boost the Wallabies lol

Aussie-born England capped rake Nic Dolly signs with Force ... and he'll soon be eligible for the Wallabies

Have to say, huge props to the Force for their.. galaxy brained approach to signing legit players as injury cover.. their team seems to get stronger every week, in the middle of the season! Slight hyperbole? Only slight, surely…
I don’t think the Brumbies will get handled like they did against the Chiefs… They were only two weeks in under Mowen then and clearly their new defensive approach (which i got pretty close to a couple of weeks ago!) wasn’t fully sync’d up, but they out defended the Tahs despite trailing in tackle percentage before their bye, so I’m buying in to the system now.. also, like 2 thirds of their backs are outperforming themselves compared to last year.. and their forward pack also looks great even without Alan.. and what a bench.. they’ve got a shot.

Super Rugby teams week 9: Beale back for first time in 1494 days, Reds make 6 changes, Wallaby returns for Brumbies

I don’t want any of them, they can go earn their money if they want but they are playing in foreign play styles and barely stand a chance of developing any chemistry with their potential team mates… Schmidt did it with Ireland, I’d rather we emulate the Irish than the boks, who sometimes look like they’re a whistleblower away from a doping scandal
