The Jaguares can practically seal the South African conference title and secure their highest ever finish when they play the Reds at Suncorp. Join The Roar for live scores and a blog from 7:45pm AEST.

As mentioned, Agustin Creevy’s men are on target to achieve their highest ranking, and officials should be booking them in at home for a week one finals game.

While Round 15 separated the wheat from the chaff, the SA group remains very close with just six points between first and last.

The Argentina locals have enjoyed a great run home this year, and are dished up matches against the 14th and 15th-ranked teams, whereas their counterparts from the republic have a gruelling few rounds comparatively.

The Reds are only a mathematical chance, and are more than a bonus point win out of the picture. They’ll play for pride tonight, nothing more.

They’ve not won since Round 12, when they clocked up their second straight victory, against the lowly Sunwolves.

For the Queenslanders, Bryce Hegarty drops back to fullback, bringing Matt McGann to No.10 alongside Tate McDermott.

Izack Rodda sits out, so Lukhan Salakaia-Loto moves to lock, as Scott Higginbotham comes to No.8 for his 100th game.

Kerevi returns from his rest week, and Feauai-Sautia partners him in the centres.

On the wing, Fijian flyer Filipo Daugunu is back, after breaking his arm.

In the front row, Brandon Paenga-Amosa comes in at hooker, with JP Smith back from concussion.

The visitors also make a lot of changes, notably Agustin Creevy coming back at hooker, as previous captain Pablo Matera drops to the bench.

Tomás Lavinini bulks up the second row for the Jaguares, as well.

It’s hard to tip against the Argentines, especially given their run of form on the road.

So you're saying all of the players not born in Australia were formed as rugby players there since their youth? If that's the case I apologise. If not...

here is spain it is often referred to as castellano, especially here in catalunya!! i was trying to keep it simple for the benefit of all. my various friends from latin america, who live here, all refer to charles como carlos and harry como enrique etc. so yes, as someone who has lived here now for a significant period of time no 5 or 10 years, i think i am 100% correct in my comment.

Strange comment given 30% of Australia’s population was born overseas. Especially given the number of Australians with PI and Kiwi heritage who migrated.

The feline of the jungle that is the feline that has the most powerful bite, has 3 ways of writing according to the region of Argentina: Jaguar (Buenos Aires), Yaguareté (in the province of Corrientes y Misiones near the jungle) and Yaguar (rest of the country) ... we thank the commentators who make the effort to pronounce the Argentine players well! Regards

Using your Spain experience to generalize on this topic does not serve your point well. While I agree with you on the Prince Charles/Carlos misnomer, it is not a common practice in other Spanish-speaking countries. Argentina and Spain are very different countries, each with their own idiosyncrasies. Argentinians do know even acknowledge speaking Spanish, to them it is ‘Castellano’. There isn’t such a thing as a ‘Spanish/Argentinian’ side.

Your comment is ridiculous as I have stated many times before. I refer to the percentage of foreigners. It is just Argie excuses based on demographic coincidences.

Carlos is the Spanish name Charles. My mom, as she is British, calls me Charlie. Funny that in Argentina they call me Charlie and Carlos in the USA....

Maybe you should call them Yaguareté, as this is the name of the animal in the local Guaraní language of Northern Argentina. I wonder what your actual family name is. I'd love to bludgeon it with a Spanish pronunciation. I think you won the silly comment of the week. You can actually call them anything you want and pronounce them your way. They still beat YOUR teams.

Sorry for my misunderstanding. If you love chatting rugby and life, there is an alright Facebook group called "international rugby" Not the same overall quality as the Roar, but more action and a lot more international flavor. Is use my real name in that group (Hermann) so I will be easy to find if you wanna chat.
