Seems Rennie was right on the money. I knew when it happened the Red card was harsh. I think a lot are letting their preconceptions cloud their objectivity when it comes to Swinton.
Jordie Barrett’s was almost the same and only a penalty. You can say the Ref got it wrong at the time but it wasn’t even considered to be worth the match review committee’s time to issue an off field yellow and warning.

No it shouldn't, unless it's deliberate like retaliation. By overturning they're trying to punish effect not the cause. If Chiefs player didn't violate the rules Swinton wouldn't have violated them either (well not sure cause it's Swinton after all but other more accurate player wouldn't)
Yep, ugly, nasty and very kiwi-esque. Interesting to see Rennie talking about the ‘dark arts’ today. There may be some spice in the Tests later this year.
