I have been and always will remain a avid fan of this wonderful game having played if from age through to High School 1st XV and Provincial Club Rugby. My greatest 'near claim to fame' would have been to have played the 1968 French side who toured NZ with the player I have always considered (for me) the best No.10 I have ever seen until Daniel Carter - Jo Maso, but as I was in the Navy my ship sailed and so did my opportunity. Cest la vie! But in all of the intervening years I have watched this game change, evolve and become more dynamic and right at the forefront have been the AB's and so it continues and I marvel at just how NZ rugby can maintain its dominance given the player base it has.

Its not how you start – ITS HOW YOU FINISH – Saders have been there before, young Team who will have learned alot, but well played Tahs, Chiefs, Canes, Landers and Blues waiting for you…. but at least 2 Aus Team showed what can be done.

Not sure TWAS he wants to coach international rugby – he has family commitments, said so when he was approached by NZR – said he would only do it until end of RWC….. I think AUS need to find their OWN (as in AUSTRALIAN) coach…..otherwise its too easy to fire them and bring Eddie back….

Being a KIWI as you say – NZR is the title of the Rugby Administrators not NZRFU – not good and you did give any suggestion of what RA and NZR and the Rugby Fraternity can or should do – like – merge them into both the NPC and SR – have a draft so the talent is spread around. Add Japan and maybe a North American combination….. thats just for starters.

Bloody well done WBs…..that 1st half was superb, played well and had the ABs on the back-foot all half. I missed the 2nd half and it seems the old game of 2-halves was to be the deciding factor.
WBs will get to the SF in France – but if you keep playing like you did in the 1st half…..who knows what will happen….ABs played well to get back into the game and eventually win it….Rugby was the winner….

Really….I think the ABs gave as good as they got – yes the WBs had very good patches but that was it…could not capitalize or convert these into points….ABs absorbed the WBs thrusts and then put the sword to them with tries…..the pack was ably lead by Scott Barrett….and all of them HIT the WBs hard and yes got hit hard in return but to the victor the spoils and no use you trying to deflect and apologise for the WBs whom I think really dont want it…..WBs let 83000 Aussies (with a good section of Kiwis) DOWN – own it mate…

Totally agree re: Penney – not sure he is the FIT for the Saders, who knows, I guess it’s a wait-and-see. And its not how you start but how you finish.
