I have been and always will remain a avid fan of this wonderful game having played if from age through to High School 1st XV and Provincial Club Rugby. My greatest 'near claim to fame' would have been to have played the 1968 French side who toured NZ with the player I have always considered (for me) the best No.10 I have ever seen until Daniel Carter - Jo Maso, but as I was in the Navy my ship sailed and so did my opportunity. Cest la vie! But in all of the intervening years I have watched this game change, evolve and become more dynamic and right at the forefront have been the AB's and so it continues and I marvel at just how NZ rugby can maintain its dominance given the player base it has.

Ireland vs All Blacks to decide the best rugby team on the planet

a rather disingenuous response Peter….but you redeemed yourself at the end…and by the way…the ABs have never said there were unbeatable…that is left to those who can’t handle the fact that a small country of 4.5 million people can excel at a game better than any other country….but I agree with you..they are a joy to watch

SO what is your point exactly…envy, jealousy, forlorn hope, if’s etc etc…get a grip

Brumbies lock in Alaalatoa for four more years

Tupou a rising star…? he was shown by grown men how to play the game in Yokohama…as for the Brother of Mr Ala’alatoa who plays for the Crusaders in SR and Manawatu in the NPC…soon he will become an AB I think…?

Brumbies lock in Alaalatoa for four more years

…you may find it boring but many others don’t….as for the predictability….don’t blame the ABs/NZ …ask the WBs/RA why that is…

Steve Hansen calls for four-month rugby off-season

…tired ABs….really??

Do the Wallabies have reason to be cheerful from Bledisloe 3?

…the AB’s new bloods or at least young guns in the front row, looked better drilled in the scrum and had superior technique and for all his hype, Topou got given a couple of lessons at scrum time when he came on. …

not sure Nepo or Karl are young guns per se….they are mature adult men…Tupou is a ‘boy’ and got shown up as one….for all the claptrap coming out of OZ about him is just unbelieveable…

Michael Cheika’s biggest Spring Tour questions

AAC really….he (MC) is now clutching at straws….why not bring back Eales, and Horan and company….

Adam Ashley-Cooper and Jordan Petaia headline Wallabies' Spring Tour train-on squad

that missed tackle by Beale on Liam was there for all to see – his despair as he lay on the ground, head bowed realizing he just stuffed up…
