all rubbish
seems some people dont understand citing process or the logic.
citings are for plays that meet a red card threshold - either punished on field or not.
this tackle did not meet a red card threshold as there seems to be no head contact.
that does not mean it is not a penalty and a yelow card.
however as i said before - this is very simillar to the Ciprianii tackle in the Muster game , for which he got cited and banned.
so one has to wonder who is citing in each match - coz there is definitely double standards!!!
this is a clear case of a global secret shadow conspiracy by the Deep State English RFU to destroy and tarnish the reputation of the mighty New Zealand All Blacks in advance of the Japan 2019 RWC.
Watched it again last night. The commentators on live stated that it was a penalty and potential card. That opinion didn't change after the TMO replays. They were shocked when Agnes (love that name, sums the bloke up) decided it was all good. There was even muted laughter in the commentary box. Time to remove the eye patch Fun Bus. Better still get on the bus and fornicate off.
Welcome to Kirky's World, Funbus. Everyone who isn't Unzud is an 'Honpom'; from the sound of his possible surname, Kirky's own family way back were also Honpoms. But that subject is off limits at home... ;-)
Agreed. I’d like to think Gardiner makes the same decision with the situation reversed in front of a home crowd. Maybe not but we’ll never know. Calling it gutless assumes he cops nothing for not blowing the penalty which is patently incorrect. I’d prefer to think his preference was not to decide the match with a penalty, that he reviewed the incident with his TMO and they decided it wasn’t a penalty.
The Ref didn't call it and neither the TMO. 50/50 all day. the Boks didn't loose the game there, they squandered chances in the first half when they should have closed out the game.
my own initial reaction was that it was a penalty and a yellow at least. watching the replay I can see why it was marginal as it gets.
Not really sure of your point, or is it a typically poor attempt to try and defend the hit on BOD, as everyone bar a minority of Kiwi fans have had to put up for for 13 years now.
I agree that’s what happened but Gardner clearly said he thought there was an arm wrapping. No argument with people’s reading of the laws; the ref saw it differently than others. I think he was wring

Actually it doesn’t. What it proves is that they don’t deem it a red card offence. Nothing to say they didn’t think it merited a penalty

Really. No Marx had a shocker. SA left a lot of points on the field.

Gees the poms are still whinging about that. What goes around comes around, especially with Farrell. He will cost his team a game one day.

I'm a bit confused by your question as ther are only 21 laws in Rugby Union. Can you restate your question please?

Angus got that one wrong..... Normally a ref who errs on caution he missed this completely as it could have been a get out of jail for SA ......
