Validating male and female relationships does not exclude other types of relationships. They aren’t mutually exclusive. If it’s not a quote, and merely an inference from the material, it is down to interpretation. Which is a slippery slope of subjectivity. But I do hope that Folau isn’t eating shellfish or wearing mixed fabrics as that was specifically mentioned, but that’s none of my business.

Yes. And picking up Tombos point below, I understand Paul was the first to commit to writing about about JC in about 60 AD.

You are right Will, you can't go around spreading hate. The thing is - Israel Folau didn't.

No he didn't specifically mention homosexuality. What he did do, was validate male and female relationships in his words and actions. He also said that those who were meek would inherit the world. And those who were persecuted because of himself, would find rest in Heaven. Jesus didn't have to say anything about homosexuality because it wasn't what he was on earth to do. Paul on the other hand, spoke about it to the fledgling churches of the day who were struggling with many issues including alcohol, adultery, idolatry and men sleeping with other men.

True. What specific quote from Jesus says Gays are going to Hell? Or was that just made up by men with a questionable moral pedigree later on down the track?

Not quite accurate though Lano, JC did talk about Love and Forgiveness, he never mentioned Gays going to Hell. If Israel had just quoted some of JCs teachings, then we would all be talking about this weekends match ups right now.

This is the irony: he was spreading the message of JC founded on love and forgiveness. What a pathetic storm in a tea cup.
