The Western Sydney Wanderers host Sydney FC in a derby that will have a big say in the make-up of the A-League top six. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:10pm (AEST).
Sydney derbies are always spicy and this one will be no exception as both sides attempt to book their spot in the playoff places.
Sydney sit among the logjam of teams trailing Melbourne City and a win here would place them as high as second, while the Wanderers began the weekend in ninth, but could finish it inside the six with three points tonight.
Despite the Sky Blues’ dominance of the A-League over the past five years — and their superior record over Western Sydney in this fixture — Sydney haven’t beaten their arch rivals since 2018.
But against a Wanderers side that hasn’t won in six games, and with a six-game unbeaten run under their belts themselves, Steve Corica’s men will begin favourites to end their derby drought in Parramatta.
Kick-off time: 7:10pm (AEST)
Venue: Bankwest Stadium, Parramatta

Betting: Western Sydney $3.70, Sydney $1.92, draw $3.50 (odds via PlayUp)

I'm astounded at how quickly and how significantly the tables have turned in this fixture. Sydney letting the atmosphere get to them, Corica sticking to his usual subs formula irregardless of the scoreline. Congrats to the Wanderers for turning up again, long way to go before they make the 6.
