NSW coach Brad Fittler has denied one of his players is involved in a new sex tape that has reportedly emerged on the eve of State of Origin I.
The NRL is believed to be aware of the video and are waiting to interview the unnamed player, who travelled with Blues teammates to Brisbane on Monday.
According to the Fairfax Media report, the tape shows the player involved in a sex act with a woman in the company of another man.
The report also states the video appeared to have been taken a few years ago.
When asked about the video at Brisbane airport, Fittler told Fairfax Media: “We’ve been made aware of it and it’s not him.”

But seriously, 2-3 year old non-criminal behaviour impacting guys now under a different set of standards, laws generally aren't made retrospective. It's obviously released as a distraction and as a Qlder, I'd prefer to win or lose on our merits.

The timing is a little bit too convenient. I’m guessing a QLDer will be offered up as a sacrifice before game two? Or perhaps it’s a QLDer sitting on a library of these tapes. I look forward ( not really) to the end of season, pre semi finals release .

It’s not a Blues player. Disappointed for the wrongly accused player having to be ushered away on landing, and call his family before his name was potentially leaked. A stress not needed. But glad it was sorted quickly.
