The North Melbourne Kangaroos will be looking to bounce back into form, but they’ve got a tough assignment in the ladder-leading Port Adelaide Power at Metricon Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:40pm (AEST).

It’s been a year to forget for the Kangaroos in 2020 and they hit a new low last week. They failed to kick a goal in the second half and got annihilated by Gold Coast to the tune of 63 points – a margin that could’ve been bigger if not for inaccuracy by the Suns in front of goal.

It doesn’t get any easier this week, with the first-placed Power rolling into town. Port did all the hard work in the first half against Sydney last week, before cruising to a 26-point win. It hasn’t been the most impressive fortnight, but they’ll back themselves to put up a big win tonight.

North’s best win of 2019 came against the Power, a stunning 86-point demolition in the penultimate home-and-away round. Prior to that, however, they’d dropped five straight against Port. The Kangas are 1-4 at Metricon this season, while the Power are 4-1.

Would think Lienert comes back in for Burton, that's a huge shame, Burton makes us a much better footy team. Maybe Garner for Motlop, reckon Farrell gets one more shot, but I want Ebert in the team for finals, so maybe he comes in for Farrell? Ladhams......I don't know, does he replace Marshall? I'd prefer Marshall, but Ladhams was playing well before he stupided. Lycett is 100% our #1 ruck.

big concerns about ebert and concussions ,would not be surprised if he retires soon, definately in best 22,motlops best is good but cant be trusted, think ladhams in and a healthy ebert, sutcliffe and motlop probably out,if burton misses i have a feeling we might see bergmann this week,if he goes back to bonner i will be flabbergasted

I'd say we're in with a shout, just doing what we have to at the moment. Probably third favourite for mine, we need to get our kicking for goal sorted, and our forward line needs to fire a bit more. Not sure how Motlop gets a game going forward, surely Ebert is best 22.

see the bookies have us about 5th on betting lines to win the flag, lots of doubters still out there in the media also,if we can lock in top 2 spot and get a home final and go in as underdogs i think that will suit us perfectly

Not convincing but a win. I think that's a tired old trope.

Hahaha, the drum in the chant! Good win by the boys, though there’s obviously room for improvement. Looking forward to facing Essendon!

Three poor performances against bottom-four clubs in a row now from Port. They won't make any noise in the finals.
