Agree – he is top ten draft pick who is just about to earn the big money in his contract and they are asking him to give almost an extra two years for free. The number 7 should be enough to ensure that he is not treated in that fashion. Be interesting what the AFL will say as they are no doubt watching this with interest.

The Crows made a huge play for JHF last year, in a lot of ways glad they didnt do the deal. Whilst there is no doubt a huge amount of talent there, from all reports the lad hasnt the right temperament at the moment. Be surprised if Clarko lets him go given he is under contract, but if they do Port will probably have to pay overs.

Sorta makes up for losing Patrick Dangerfield, Jack Gunstone, Jake Lever, Charlie Cameron and Phil Davis – some who left for more money.
