Carlton's problems stem from the salary cap cheating under John Elliot administrations and then failing to understand what was required to recover. Boards were sacked because of supporter pressure without any understanding of the difficulty of the tasks facing them. Then the process was repeated.
For the most part, I was happy to see Carlton suffer as they made their punishment worse, but at the moment more than anything else they need stability.
However …. is it too soon to discuss Carlton being moved to Hobart to become the Tassie Convicts?
Absolutely it proves your point Richie. If the Pies had a defender as good as Rance I wouldn't care if he worshipped wombats in his spare time and I doubt the other players would care either. Yes, sorry for the JW rant but I am close to someone who is still in therapy from their JW upbringing.

Well, it kinda is. Winning keeps the media quiet. Massive losses arouse media attention. The club and it's fans need to stop making excuses and just start winning games of football.
Not just anti Xmas Macca, no birthdays, new years day or any other acknowledgement of a special day are allowed. They also don't vote in elections and do not get fined because they simply say they are JW's and don't need to vote. They door knock you on Saturdays handing out their literature called "the Watchtower" which is like something from 1880. Of course their other high profile view is "no blood" which means they can refuse blood transfusions even in a life saving situation. Young women are discouraged from going to University.
I guess we just have to wait and see how Carlton go.

I am tipping the knives would still be out for Bolton and the blues if they had won 3 games by less than a kick but were averaging just 61 points per game.
