Australia and South Africa will both be hoping for blue skies and sunshine after an opening day at the SCG marred by interruptions. Join The Roar for live scores from 10am (AEDT).
The Aussies resume on 2/147 after Marnus Labuschagne fell to what proved the last ball of the opening day before bad light forced a premature finish.
As such, play begins half an hour early on Day 2, with the match relatively evenly poised. If the Proteas can expose the Aussie middle order early, they will be in business; but if Smith can pair with the set Usman Khawaja, they can take the game away from a South African team whose batting has been brittle this series.
Venue: SCG
First ball: 10am (AEDT)
TV: Fox Cricket, Seven Network
Streaming: Foxtel Go, Kayo Sports

A bit different if the main bowling is being done by the spinners, not the quicks.

Well it's dumped down again here in Lismore and Ballina. Now Byron is copping it.

Yet, you interact with me on every post I make. I think you'll find it was Craig questioning you. I was just dismissing you.

I'd say the St George Dragons coaching group. They are world renowned for their innovation and ability to put super successful structures in place. It could be called Rex Tarp.

Maybe CA should bring Monty Burns on as a consultant.

Maybe a pergola or a mega sized beach umbrella

Selectors flirted with form & Captain insisting this renewed bowling attack will do the job & get 20 wkts is a farce. Missing Starc, Boland & Green no chance of winning game.

They do that in Sri Lanka quite easily. I would have thought it would be possible in Australia too. But then, I'm not a greenskeeper and perhaps there is a reason related to the different variants of grass at each ground...shoulder shrug.

 Yeah, poor fellas may have to bowl for 2 days with only a month off 'till the next Test!

We haven’t the arsenal to enforce the follow but l agree wholeheartedly. Hoff will probably breakdown with that reoccurring side strain & Cummins not in great form. We miss our three form bowlers Starc, Boland & Green. Selectors flirting with form but l guess proof will be in the pudding!

Your assuming winning this one Test is more important to the National setup than load management

let khawaja make his 200 tmw and get them straight in or if no play tomorrow get them straight in and the target will be bowling for two days straight with 3.5 bowlers
