The Brisbane Broncos are looking to snap a three-game losing streak when they take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores as Round 15 kicks off from 7:50pm (AEST).
The Broncos earned a lot of plaudits for a stunning 34-16 upset of the Sydney Roosters a month ago, but their poor performances since have turned that promising performance into a distant memory. Since then, Brisbane have been nowhere near it in three consecutive heavy losses to Melbourne, St George Illawarra and Canberra.
The Rabbitohs suffered a humiliating 56-12 loss to Penrith on that same weekend, but they’ve been in much better form since. A 38-20 win over Parramatta and a 24-10 win over Newcastle either side of the bye have South Sydney entrenched in the top four – but they need to keep their foot on the pedal.
Souths have already enjoyed a win over the Broncos this season; a 35-6 demolition at Stadium Australia that saw Adam Reynolds kick the NRL’s first ever two-point field goal. The Rabbitohs have won four of their last five against Brisbane – but did lose the last game played between these sides at Lang Park.
Kick-off: 7:50pm (AEST)

The rookie Blake Taafe looked the goods, as did Hame Sele scoring his first NRL try :rugby:

Pull your head in tosser. The Broncos worst crowd is better then the Panthers. There was still over 20k on a Thursday night. Seibold took a finals team to a wooden spoon and Walters with that same team is doing much better after 15wks, well FMD, at least he is trying different things, something the last bloke wasn't doing.

He’s not being trolled like Seibpld who was far better credentialed. Not sure where sacking everyone gets you. You already see what even the best teams put up when they put all the reserves on the field. When Penrith were down the bottom for decades, the community still supported their team, win lose or draw. That’s the difference here. The difference is YOU. You and the rest of your Bronco fans who can’t handle the rough trot. Grow up. Support your team and things will turn. Just got this year.

Walters is not a good coach. He has to be the first to go.

Yes we had and still have a coaching problem. Its just we have a player, management, board and ownership problem too.

He did play a great game on the 26th of September 1993. It was a pity Jason Stevens suffered a terrible hand injury in the first few minutes, Saints never recovered from that. He did well in the 1992 grand final too.

Good point Stormy. I've often wondered why do that. And why do they sometimes run for the corner post before they get the ball? They are chosen for their speed but in defence they only need to tackle front on if they stay on their wing. David Campese went to Rugby Union after being yelled at by his team mates for missing tackles. I wonder if he left his wing.

Would there be any chance at all that Kevvie is currently being bullied by the club, and trolled by the fans, taunting him and his family ? I highly doubt it. It’s pretty clear now, they never did have a coaching problem.

Only 46-0, I'm glad I didn't watch it, although I'm sure the restart rule sped the game up and made it more enjoyable for the Souths fans. They'll be in the top 4 for sure so I can tune in for the finals.

The Bunnies playyed very well tonight but should have put 60 on this Broncs side. The pleasing thing was our defence which was very good to see and I reckon that we will be just right and primed come September to give them Stormers and Panthers a go as the Eels are no threat as are the other 4 that make the 8 ^^^^Go You Bunnies!

He won't be the top point scorer that's for sure but we've got LM he'll do just as good a job in coring, converting tries
Stormy

You did well compared to my numerous visits. Hope he's OK.

His conversion rate should be sublime though. With Coates and TPJ leaving I’d imagine a vast majority of our tries will be scored under the sticks by Haas.

If relegation was a thing Norths and the Devils would be salivating right now...

Enjoying Gagai being good for us & rubbish for Queensland.

The fact that some of the broncos played well and we got slaughtered is violently dispiriting. Lodge and Haas actually got decent metres. The other takeaway is that the HIA thing needs more flexibility. By the time you lose 3 players, you're already crippled. Souths' victory would have meant more if the opposition hadn't been forced to play a bunch of guys out of position. It would have been a better watch.

Yep, we’re home now… cleared of an “obvious fracture” but we have to get him checked again next week. Diagnosed as a ligament strain It’s always a waiting game in the emergency room but overall they were really good Thanks all for the thoughts…
