Just 16 points differential separate these two teams, when the Sea Eagles travel to Cronulla to wrap up the 10th round of competition. Join The Roar for live scores and a blog from 4:05pm AEST.

The Sharks come into this game as slight favourites, coming off a gritty 26-18 win versus the Gold Coast to kick off Magic Weekend. They’ve won three of their last four, with five victories and four losses overall.

Manly are ranked one position higher, with the same win-loss record, but are coming off a loss to Brisbane. Their season has been positive on a whole, with five from their previous six, before last weekend’s loss.

It’s important for the Sea Eagles to get some momentum: they play three of the bottom four in their next three fixtures, the Titans, Cowboys and Penrith, before taking on the Dragons, then the Gold Coast again.

Cronulla have a derby versus the Dragons, then a rematch against the Eels, before Canberra, who both have places inside the top eight currently.

In team news, Dylan Walker returns for the Sea Eagles, for his first match of the year, in what is a huge plus for them.

Addin Fonua-Blake, Jorge Taufua and Lachlan Croker all return from their respective injuries as well. Curtis Sironen makes the change from No.6 to the forwards, as Jack Gosiewski drops to the pine.

Kelepi Tanginoa and Abbas Miski are gone from the 17, and the latter will appear for Blacktown Worker Sea Eagles in Canterbury Cup.

Cronulla are unchanged at this stage, though Andrew Fifita and Matt Prior are a chance of playing.

Cronulla should do the job at home, especially if Fifita and Prior run out.

What are you even talking about? Check the Canterbury Cup ladder, the Sea Eagles BWC are at the absolute bottom of the ladder while the Rabbitohs have dropped from the top 4 to 5th on the ladder. If you are still banging on about one win in the season then there can't be much else to celebrate. Personally, I'd rather have Souths at the TOP of the ladder in the NRL and in the top 5 in CC than worry about one loss in a long season. Keep celebrating that ONE point OT win in round 4 because by the end of the season it will be all you have to celebrate and the closest you come to lifting the trophy while you watch the Bunnies lift No. 22 (and Manly only have 8). LOL

As AE47 and ALL your previous "47" ending profiles you have posted under in the past YOU always kept calling DCE an overpaid disgrace to a Manly jersey. Remember that time he admitted in an interview he wasn't even giving 100% even though at $1.25 mill he was the highest paid player in the game? Remember how you roastes holmsey on ZT because of that? Do you not also remember banging on about how DCE would make a great hooker and he would NEVER get selected for QLD again? Do you want me to start posting quotes and links from your past profiles to prove this? I'm sure there are a few on this site who have argued to whole "DCE to hooker" issue with you. No wonder you change profiles as often as you change underpants, there is so much BS you vomit you can't back up. I have only changed profiles if I am silenced on issues otherwise I would still be posting as SSTID as you well know.

The Sharks have a great crop of young players doing really well and the future looks bright. Fullback is such a massive part of the game and Dugan isn't the million dollar player he thought he was.

Haha I imagine that is pretty painful! Cheers mate I’m enjoying this year. Cant ask for more than your team putting in each week. Sharks are in a good spot, plenty of talent to return. They’ll be around at the business end.

If Des is smart he will keep Cust and drop Elgey when DCE comes back. Unless he plays DCE at hooker like AE47/Insider keeps insisting. LOL Manly will be a much tougher side when DCE and Turbo comes back, no doubt about that. Just as the Raiders would have been a better side with Bateman (pommie), Rapana and Leilua. And Souths would be a better team with a fully fit Greg Inglis, AJ, Burns, Doueihi et al.

Like you, except the other way I lost confidence.... anyways both teams have a fair share of cavalry to return, good chance they’ll meet again later in the year.... if so hopefully the sharks won’t have Dugan at the back!!

When I saw that Dugan was at the back for the Sharks before kick off , I developed a bit of confidence. Cust played like he'd been doing it for years at that level and it was a good win. I didn't pay that much attention to the refs but after a while I couldn't ignore that they seemed to be giving the Sharks a really good crack at making a come back. It reminded me of some of the nonsense from a year or more back when they just seem to hammer one team for a long period. Why that is I don't know.

If there was any justice Barrett would be sitting in Long Bay for the crimes he perpetrated on that team. Along with whoever thought it would be a good idea to give him the Sea Eagles to try to find out what it would be like to be a first grade coach. Well now we all know.

I reckon if you could have played 167 games in the NRL you are in a position to criticise Gal. He's done a lot of hard yards for the Sharks, through good years and lean and is still ticking. Or maybe you are just shallow enough to keep bringing up this stat for every game he loses for the rest of the year?
