The pressure continues to build for the Parramatta Eels but they can release it with a win over the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at 4 Pines Park in Brookvale tonight. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 8:00pm (AEST).
It’s a little over a month since the Eels recorded a comeback win over the Sea Eagles. Since then they have won only one match, with the loss against the Dolphins last start being the most disappointing.
Josh Aloiai and Nathan Brown are back for the Sea Eagles, forcing Matt Lodge to the bench and Aaron Woods to 18th man.
Parramatta bring Maika Sivo back in amid a major reshuffle that sees almost the entire bench changed: Kelma Tuilagi, Brendan Hands and Makahesi Makatoa are all new on the interchange.
Prediction

This is true and this goes back a fair way of these big packs....2005 they turned up with a monster pack and weststigers wins the comp with the lightest pack that could shift lateral....no unloads from Parramatta...Shaun Lane is better then that...

Parramatta pack just can’t play for 80 ! Too big and slow and gone by 60 minutes. With a few dopes out wide as well and they are struggling! If you can hold them close at halftime, you can get them in the second half . I thought Manly were quite poor tonight, but good enough with a couple of DCE moments to get them home ! Brooks and Turbo did little .

Bizarre player. A guy scores three tries, could be MOM, could be the player that wins the team the game. But his dopey, stupid, derrrr maybe cost his team the game. lol. Crazy

They shouldn't rule on either. They are making it up.

Did Manly win that, or did Parra lose it ? You be the judge. Might wander down to the Brookvale Hotel to socialise and wait for the demand for busses and Ubers to thin out. Turbo has played more games this year with tonight’s match than he’s played over the last couple of seasons. That gives me reason to worry,

my blood pressure is fine...I was watching game on channel 9 and came online to comment when I saw that refereeing performance...loose carry from bunker...they are making up stories and we are all wearing this shit...you can not tip a game these days because it is the controller with tackle restarts....think what i said...in the days of scrum penalties they reckon refs were dictating results and that was 2 points...so they made a rule of no shot at goal from scrum penalties...now we are seeing teams put under some aerobic blowtorch of 20 tackles in a row...they are deciding games...100%....you guys are babies...we are watching the greatest game of all being reduced to a game of hold.

Congratulations Manly. Not a good first half but made up for it in the second. DCE guided you around well. Parramatta? Well, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, Sivo Evil! Got back into the game and he blew your chances! Brad Arthurs team played better than they did against the Phins in the second half but they need to kick their conversions and keep their heads.

The Eels gave up 8 penalties in the second half and just couldn't go with the Sea Eagles. They have a much needed bye next weekend

Could say the same about Matterson. Didn’t even get a penalty

The Sea Eagles move into 3rd place on the ladder and look a good chance of playing finals footy this year. They take on the Raiders next week at 4 Pines Park

It was a catch up from the first half. Sutton and his partner in crime Klein should judge dog shows

Possession swung in the second half and the Sea Eagles scored 26-4 in the second half to continue Parramatta's woes. The Eels discipline was poor, with Penisini and Sivo having stints in the sin bin. Goal kicking didn't help either and they missed Moses again
