VOTE: Wallabies player ratings from Bledisloe 3

By The Roar / Editor

Rise, wash, repeat. The All Blacks have once again wiped the floor with the Wallabies, a 38-21 win on hostile soil in Perth securing them yet another Bledisloe Cup clean sweep.

Whether you need to find some light in the darkness or want a chance to let off some steam, here’s your chance. It’s time to rate every Wallaby from Sunday afternoon’s loss.

If you’ve done this before, simply head down to the form below and get cracking. If you’re new here, there’s a few things you’ll need to know.

For starters, you don’t have to rate every player – if you didn’t catch enough of someone’s performance or don’t think they were on the field long enough for a fair judgement, just leave them blank and it won’t affect their score.

If you’re after a rough guide as to what each score means, here’s what we go off.

1. Had he not played, the team would have been better off. Negatively affected the performance of the side. May God John Eales have mercy on his soul.
2. Anonymous. Was he even there?
3. Did some things that you expect a player to be able to do, but did a whole bunch of other things that sucked.
4. Was passable in patches, but not up to standard in a match of such importance.
5. Performed his role without anything really noticeable happening.
6. Good.
7. Pretty good, actually.
8. Very good.
9. Excellent.
10. Extraordinary. Calling them man of the match would be an insult.

Did anyone do enough for a passing grade? How long will Michael Hooper’s back hold out carrying 22 blokes on it every week? Have your say right here:

Mate i don't think TT for instance has seen his family in Tonga in 18+ months. He is a known family guy, that only survived as he could fly home for periods of time and see them - can't now can he. So yes, they are highly paid, but the dream is not always as rosy as you probably think.

Did you watch the halftime show? They showed how deep the attacking support players are. It means the all blacks don’t really need to worry about them until the guy trying to pass to them turns his whole body to throw the pass. It seems the structure is making the ball plsyer do this.

The young blokes are living the dream. Being away from home – please give me a break ! Understand that some of the older guys with some “tin lids” would be missing them immensely. However, the zoom calls or whatever make it a lot easier.

Long time away from home across the NZ tour & extended Perth stay. Touring is hard, even at home. I'm sure he also hasn't seen family for a long time now also.

I understand that he's returning from a hamstring problem. Hopeful that he'll play in the next Test in Brisbane.

No player is capable of giving 110%. Some players are better at giving their best (100%) most of the time. To start rating players at >100% is the reason why most Wallabies were ranked 4-5 after the previous test when in reality they should have been ranked 2-4. It's a professional sport - if they're not up to scratch then they shouldn't be playing. The selection process under Rennie is nearly as bad as it was under Cheika.

Robbo also played the full 60 minutes and looked good. Holmes did not play but is fit for next week.

Ken, I replied to Redbeard and his complaints about NSW. You had seemed to agree with him. If you don’t think NSW was the issue then no problem!

my point was, which i would have thought was abundantly clear had you read my initial post, that the team which won super rugby had a single player only in the starting wallabies. you have gone into player origins and backgrounds which have nothing to do with it. say hello hello to the pixies for us.

TT played his best football this year when he played the whole 80 minutes. This idea of him coming on as an impact player has failed dismally. Start him and let him play until he runs out of steam. He needs to start to find a rhythm that is currently sadly lacking. He needs to do more than earn scrum penalties .

David, I for one aren't hating him. I reckon he should have been given an extended run at 15 to settle in. For most of the test season he has been okay without locking down the position. Good DHP was a step up from good Banks. DHP gone now unfortunately and realistically too old anyway. Banks' line kicking has been too short all season, not just on Sunday. I do think there is something going in his head because he has the athleticism to play test footy.

100% with you on the Reds issue. They'd have had more if they didn't have so many players unavailable. My Tahs are as well represented as they should be, could argue they had one more in the team than they ought. That's why my comment was that Force and Rebels are the teams that can make a case.

I replied to you and Redbeard complaining about NSW in relation to the team selection. The above allocation was me having a guess at what you two were griping over because if it was really that the Waratahs had 3 players in the 23 then the pair of you are truly off with the pixies.

Yeah fair calls. Some have been publicly explained, others not so well. I expect ongoing rotation. Powell has been overlooked for 5 years now I have given up asking why. Just of all the things to appear after that anti-Brumbies bias, I was not expecting a set of anti-Reds bias accusations.

Good insight. I’m positive he reads the roar every night to get insights. I personally called him last night and had a word, he was all ears to what I had to say. I’ll be the first to criticize a play or skill performance. But the blatant trolling here by some people is ridiculous. He made one obvious mistake. Everyone says he should never play again. MK made 3 defensive errors that directly led to line breaks and tries. I don’t see the anger towards him.

McDermott I marked at 7, would have given more except at times was far to slow clearing the ball. Loloesio got 4 .... did bugger all, is not squaing up the defence before sending the ball on, his shoulders are facing the sideline, all the time.

Swinton? What game were you watching? I agree with Bell but tell us straight up, Tahs supporter? Kellaway was MIA, Banks was hot and cold but that plus McDermotts issues I think were due to the forwards not doing their jobs. Lolesio, Banks and McDermott had a very difficult time due to the forwards bar Hooper and Samu and sometimes Valetini, being lazy, not working hard and disappearing when needed. Swinton was ineffectual. Where's the hard man? The enforcer? The mongrel? It's gone so he is of no use in this team without that.
