Nasser totally did him over? Or did Nasser and the right head go through the Brumbies loosehead?

Aussie-born England capped rake Nic Dolly signs with Force ... and he'll soon be eligible for the Wallabies

What do you think of Pollard? Needs to work on his lineout throw but it’s not horrible.

Good for you Jimbo! Maybe you can post on Riotact how much you hate the Brumbies.

Scrap the Giteau Law: Rugby Australia should look to Rassie's 'Boks RWC recipe if it wants to re-join the big boys' table

Has the player said he intended to make full force contact? Or are you assuming that was his intent.

Maybe his intent was to graze his lip?

No one except the player knows his intent.

I’d hope the reds are doing better than 38%. Where is Jimbo to run the numbers for us?

'Brain explosion': Wallaby stars sent off as Queensland left red-faced in Moana Pasifika shocker

I’d guess a lot of people tipped the reds. Colvin is simply quoting an expert that got it wrong.

You select someone into your program on potential. You train them, put money and time into them on potential. You pay them what they are worth, not what they could be worth. Max Jorgensen is not worth $550,000 a year. If he wants to back himself at $100,000 for a year then go back to the table good for him.

What body part can a player lead with? Or what body part is the ball carrier allowed to leave open for the defender to tackle?

It’s not a jones era decision to offer Jorgensen $1,600,000 for 3 seasons after 17 super rugby games.

He needs to earn that money. I’d be surprised if AAA or Valetini are on that money.

Those coaches might have the right mindset, and want an open and challenging environment. But it doesn’t mean those above them do. Being undermined as a coach by having the office staff leaking stories, talking to players about you or the game plan ruins the culture.

Id guess the Waratahs suffer from the Shute shield clubs all wanting a say, and getting involved in small ways they undermine the club.

I heard a story about the reds, that players didn’t spend any time together. Partners were not welcome in the players box unless they had kids. That no one did anything to promote a harmonious club or environment. Where the Brumbies have bbqs, spend time together, have functions for the partners organised by the partners. That they all help each other and support each other. It’s probably nice to hear that your backrow team mates partner came over and helped with the kids while you were away with the team.

I think he would do well for the wallabies in 23.

Dynamics is the culture of the club. But more specifically how people interact and what the norms are in how as a group they work together. An example would be, does Darren Coleman have the relationship with his boss to book in a meeting, sit down, ignore the pleasantries, be heard, and cause change.
I wanted to add the crusaders and Melbourne storm are interesting studies in this space. Is the culture at those clubs strong, are the dynamics right, or is everything hinging on who the head coach is? I’d guess the crusaders have the culture right. They went with a failed coach from the Waratahs, they went with someone they fits their club and works in their dynamics. When Bellamy goes I’ll be fascinated to see what happens.

But why is his potential being rewarded? Wright is on money nowhere near his new deal.

Jorgensen needs to earn his money. One of the reasons the Tahs are how they are.

See my comment about dynamics. Your questioning of Christy is exactly what the players think. They think they are not important, it’s all about Bell, Mary Mark, and Jorgo.

This type of reporting comes from somewhere.

If you continually get some of the best talent, have the most money but can’t win, the problems are not in the mechanics of the program, but the dynamics.

Sapsford is eligible. Played Australia A last year and was reported be wants to play for the wallabies.

He really is the dependable 23 the wallabies could use. Plays 12, 13, 11/14, not sure of 15.

I’ve tried to reply a few times, but stopped because I couldn’t get the right message out.

If this comes as harsh my apologies. Why is he learning on the job in a professional environment? This is the exact problem with the Waratahs, and Australian rugby. He might be a great winger next season, but I’m positive there is a winger or fullback that will get the job done better today. Picking on potential not current ability is why good players leave, they are overlooked for someone that might be good. Teams should always select the best players they have, not the player that might be great in 2 seasons time. That’s what club, runners/a teams, and the bench is for.

'What the hell's going on': Ex-Wallabies question 'losing' culture, pathways at Waratahs

Poor play. Didn’t come away from the sideline at all, or try to position his support players, or stand up Gordon with a change of pace. Just kept running. Who does he think he is? Corey Toole?

Not to have a go at Tom Ross. But he was 4th pick at the Brumbies and I believe he started last weekend for the Waratahs? While the Brumbies unearthed 2 wallaby props last year, they have 4 current wallaby props on their books.

McDermott made contact, left his feet and wrapped his legs. Wasn’t a low tackle, and it wasn’t a trip or hip drop. A great photo in this article. https://www.benallaensign.com.au/aap-other-sport/hip-drop-under-rugby-microscope-after-lonergan-injury/
To me the laws of rugby are you are out of the game if you are off your feet. Jumping into a tackle like that is off his feet. And it looks like a deliberate effort. No injury penalty only. Player leaves the field, you leave the field.

There are only two ways rugby can go from here - and there's no middle ground between physicality and safety

Until the roster changes the results will be the same. The same players will always play the same way.

I’d start with new 2s, 8s, 9s, 10s, 15s. The players that control and impact the game. My captain would be someone that comes from the outside. Maybe a kiwi or South African. An older player that will only be around for a few seasons and will then retire.

Yes they have worked out McReight. Run at him with a big body and he’s out of the contest for 2 or 3 phases.

Are you related to Jim Humphreys? He’s posting the same crap on the rugby Australia Facebook page. It’s weird. He uses a photo of ewan mckenzie as his profile picture. Didn’t he play for and coach the Brumbies?

Who’s doing the tough carries in that back row? Who is the on ball presence? The reds backrow went missing when it mattered. Brown and Valetini rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in. With Reimer causing havoc when he came on.
