The final game of Saturday action for round 20 heads to Suncorp Stadium as the Brisbane Broncos face the Wests Tigers. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 7.35pm AEST.

Despite a little hiccup, the Broncos are back to winning ways over the past few weeks and showed the rest of the competition not to rule them out of premiership contention following an emphatic win against the Eels last week. Selwyn Cobbo continues to be eased back into the Broncos lineup as he is rested once again following his concussion injury in the Origin decider earlier in the month. However, the Broncos welcome back Billy Walters at hooker, while Delouise Hoeter replaces Jordan Pereira (dropped) and Deine Mariner is handed a debut at the expense of Brenko Lee (named in reserves). Te Maire Martin has been named as 18th man, and could be a late inclusion at fullback should Kevin Walters feel the Kiwi international is ready to resume playing after an injury layoff.

As for the Tigers, the playing squad will definitely be hurting after narrowly losing to the Cowboys in controversial circumstances the week before. And with a winning mentality ceasing to exist throughout the season, it is incredibly tough for the players to pick themselves up after a heartbreaking loss and give it their all the next week. Jock Madden is set to replace Luke Brooks at halfback as Brooks is set to miss the rest of the season to injury. To the Tigers credit, they have improved as over the past few rounds, they have shown the willingness to fight for longer periods of time – losing their last three games by one, two and eight points respectively.

Prediction

While the Tigers have improved over the past few weeks, facing a red hot Broncos is the last thing an under confident outfit wants to encounter. Adam Reynolds and Kurt Capewell’s experience to lead the way and cause a Broncos victory in front of their home fans.

Broncos by 10.

They're good to watch too. Sorry to say it but their attack seemed to flow more without Brooks. Hastings, Douiehi and Lawrie offer plenty. Maybe, just maybe blue skies ahead and good luck to them.

Less keystrokes typing team' names, more to use on the action. No brainer. Other side of the fence = no brain.

Congrats Tigers fans. I really didn't want to be next up after last week and the Tigers turned up. Too good.

Tigers are a very gritty team with plenty of size. Broncos probably can’t afford to have Haas, Carrigan and Flegler off together for an extended period. Tigers will annoy an of the sides they play before the seasons done.

The tigs are a tougher team now they have a "softer" coach. You don't need to be hard man to get respect you just need to treat people with respect! Well done Noddy hope you string a few together!

I prefer the full name, Arnab; shortening them makes it look like a maths equation, or something. Thanks for calling, do we hear from you tomorrow?

How the bloody hell is this team at the bottom of the table. Wests do have heart and thoroughly deserved the win tonight. Tough for Brisbane but from a neutral's viewpoint it was a great game.

Thank you all for tuning in. Just a quick question for all - should I keep shortening team names when typing up the scores or write the longer name?

Congratulations Kimmorley and the Tigers. You beat the NRL, the ref's, the bunker, the commentators, the broncos crowd, the top 4, the Broncos and the Cowboys too. There's a ton of guts in that side.

FULL TIME BRI 18 WST 32 The Tigers are out of the wooden spoon spot. Great performance by them. It was all Broncos until Madden scored on the stroke of half time. And from there on, the Broncos struggled to wrestle momentum back for long periods. The Storm remain in the top four thanks to the Tigers winning.
