You are correct, and like men, some women commit violence against their partners and children. One hit and one death is one too many. Let’s not compare the violence against women to the violence against men, though, as 1 in 6 Australian women have experienced physical or sexual violence by a current or former partner. (This statistic does not take into account the physical or sexual violence committed against a woman by an unknown male assailant.) While for men, it is 1 in 16. 75% of victims of domestic violence report the perpetrator as male and 25% report the perpetrator as female, and in 2023 about 70 women were killed in violent circumstances by current or non-current male partners. (By February this year, 9 Australian women had lost their lives…Just saying!)

2024 NRL Transfer Centre: Souths land Super League half, three-team trade confirmed

I’m team Madge all the wayyyyyyyyy 😊

Madge is an outstanding choice for the Blues – but only if he embraces the difference of rep footy

Benji taking reins early as Tigers make cut-throat call on Sheens: 'Suggestions about us knifing Tim are demeaning'

The Tigers need to hang onto him…

Thanks, RL Fan. There was a wee more effort from the Tigers boys tonight. It wasn’t great but they looked like they were giving it their best shot 😊

Waning cats and dogs: Tigers and Canterbury dish up woeful lack of professionalism in giving up the ghost

Thanks, Jimmmy. The Cowboys could sneak into the top 8 this weekend (fingers crossed!)

I am a wee nervous about the Tiger’s game tonight against the Sharks. I hope that the player’s effort forces me to watch the game further than the first half (this needs more than finger crossing 😂 )

As a West Tigers supporter, I would love to watch the Tigers play and be proud. To see that the team is doing the basics and putting in 100% effort. I am at the point where I don’t care if they don’t win (as the team is way beyond that), but I want to see that the players respect the jersey.

I hope so 😊

Cowboys right at Holmes as Valentine has a day to remember as Bellamy tears strips off 'putrid' Storm

I was blown away by the Women’s SOO game tonight, and I enjoyed it much more than last night’s game. Of course, I would have loved the NSW team to get a win tonight, but the best team won.

Shouldn’t play have stopped, though, when Isabel Kelly was down?

ANALYSIS: Another day, another Queensland upset win - but is this the right time for Women's Origin?

Oh noooooo this is terrible news! (Mondayitis and now this 😱 )

Stephen 'Bradbury' Crichton in hot seat with Latrell out of Origin but Fittler certain Cleary will play

I love Campbell Graham as a player. And I think (I am being wholly subjective here) he did everything to deserve a run-on spot for the Blues. It’s odd that JOC and TT were selected before him…Hmmmm, anywayssss…

Totally agree, Cadfael!

This is such cool (but surprising) news! Go Tigers…Let’s make this the start of something great!

Hmmm… The NRL has made lots of bad decisions, but choosing to celebrate Anzac Day a little too much is not one of them (just sayin’!)

Wow, maybe Gus was bounced on his head a few times at birth. He is acting insensitively and out of touch and doesn’t appear to have the player’s well-being at heart.
