Yeah, in the end I’m glad we got a point. To lose after that defensive effort and team resolve would have been devastating for the team. But what is the deal with referees, Manly and 6-Agains? I think we got one for the game and that came in the first half. We must be the team, in fact I’m confident we are the team, that gets them less than any other. It makes for an unfair playing field for us. The extra defence lead to extra injuries and more field position for them. The only reason they got over halfway for that last try was down to a 6-Again. But no doubt, Siebold will sit there and try and be the ref’s buddy in the presser, with his nonsence statements like ‘Refs have a hard job, they are doing their best’, with misplaced belief that it will buy his team some favours with officials. It won’t and it hasn’t. We have a coach who won’t stand up to officials off the field, and a captain who won’t stand up for his team on it.

Yes, Manly blew it on multiple occasion. They blew it when DCE decided at 16-6 with five seconds to go until HT, to throw a speculator that was intercepted. They blew it in the 79th minute when they were unable to chase a bomb without first letting it bounce and they blew it when the winger decided to come in on Johnson so that he could calmly throw a pass to DWZ for his double. However, that call against Aloiai was an absolute joke. He brushed past Johnson's leg at best, it would have been a fairy tap. The rule has always been decided on a couple of points. First, could the defender have pulled out? In this case, no, he was committed. Was he late? No, Simultaneous. Did he put the kicker in a dangerous position? No. He brushes his ankle at worst. Johnson goes down in agony, clutching his shin of all places and then calmly trots over and slots the penalty goal. As much as I love the game, this is the reason why the game the is losing my interest.

Truth be told, Manly blew it! If Aloiai should an ounce of self-discipline the Warriors would have fallen 2-poinrs short at the end of regular time thanks to Shaun Johnson's missed conversions.

Cracker of a contest. Warriors lucky to get it to extra time (penalty was fair but geez what a stroke of luck). And Manly lucky to survive extra time. Fair result. Happy with the point as Warriors at home is one helluva tough road trip.

Fair result. If neither team is in front at full time then a draw is what it should be.

Wow. The Warriors would have breathed a sigh of relief at the end of the 80, and Manly at the end of 90. Only the Wahs looked a chance in extra time. Exciting 90 minutes of footy!

Pretty fair Dropped way to much ball but I'll take that. Ref team was ordinary at best manly got away with more knockons than the Sydney Swans :stoked:

possible game of the year so far! I reckon that result is fair rather than one side getting heartbreak from golden point

Sounds like the MCU’s newest crap superhero – ‘The Disruptor’! Able to give the opposition a penalty in a single bound!

Johnson should've just waited, tried to kick it too late, and taken the penalty.
