Having let the WA dispensation and arrangements lapse, that is probably true. They've forced RA to reschedule the match for a second time, so yeah, now they would probably have no idea where or when the game will be played, where they'll have to quarantine, or be able to get spots to do so. But that wasn't RA's doing, it was entirely NZR's. Surprised they think it is so easy, when they seem bound by utterly immovable quarantine spots booked in November.
Playing the Rugby Championships in SA makes complete sense now that NZ has pulled out. I would have assumed AU was the original plan for keeping broadcasters happy across the timezones but now I would assume SA is the ideal location.
Surely requesting fixtures of when and where matches are to be played is reasonable, you need a plan but also be adaptable. Currently there is no plan for the rest of the TRC.
Would the British and Irish Lions travelled to South Africa if they were told "we have only confirmed the location and time of the 1st match, the next 7 matches we will decide once you get here"??
SA has capacity, yes, but lets not forget Georgia 2nd test got cancelled and their coach is still in hospital...

COVID is running Australia. SA and NZ. Requesting guarantees is ridiculous. As even Robinson said, harking on the past is not helpful and lets just get things done.
Last minute cancellations are inevitable but they should not be brought about by an unwillingness to compromise, and I'm not just pointing a finger at NZ here.

I think this is very much a case of everyone has an opinion and is choosing the bits that support it, or contradict it the least.
SANZAAR should take the results of both Eden Park Tests, give NZ 9pts on the RC table and get on with organising the rest of the tournament as best they can under the circumstances.
Aus need the money and that is their problem. SA did not give the chance for NZ to beat them in the RCH 2020. Arg does not count and will do whatever to be in the tournament.
