The Cats’ loss to Brisbane last week has left them eighth on the ladder and only percentage ahead of Carlton and Richmond in ninth and tenth, so a win here is crucial to keep them on course for an eighth straight finals berth.
While the Dockers did storm the Cattery last year, the 2023 version is a much-weakened one, and sitting 15th and with finals hopes all but shot, it’s difficult to see them repeating the dose.
