The St George Illawarra Dragons will look to steal a win against a second-string Melbourne Storm side at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores from 4:05pm (AEST).
It’s been a miserable 2020 for the Dragons and their fans can’t wait for it to end. However, they could finish the year on a high if they can sneak in an upset against a Storm team who are resting plenty of stars. The Dragons, who’ve lost four straight, could rocket from 13th all the way to tenth with a win and favourable results elsewhere.
Melbourne, on other hand, have locked up second place on the ladder and cannot rise or fall – so they’ve elected to rest a host of stars. It’s been another excellent season for the Storm, they’ve lost just three times all year and come into the final home-and-away match on a four-game winning streak.
The Storm got up by just two points in last year’s only meeting. Melbourne enjoy an excellent record against St George Illawarra, winning six of the last meetings.
Kick-off: 4:05pm (AEST)

Win, lose or draw there was no point in playing their full squad as Melbourne wasn't going to move up or down on the ladder

Bellamy's "B" team did pretty good. But the Dragons did better. Not a bad game. Bring on the Finals!

Doesn't he just. Took too long to get him on, I'd be a lot happier with him and Sailor covering the spot and moving Norman on...

Commiserations Stormy and Walter and your mob. Nothing lost here, a good workout for your subs and they put on a good show. Good luck, I feel for the Eels and anyone else who gets in your way.

Great end to the season. Serves the Storm right for bringing their B team. Farewell Frizell and Aitken. Thanks for your service. Hook needs to run with that spine next year. See you next week for the finals. Stay safe.

Yes he does, but where does that leave Tristan?

Good effort, with no chance to build combinations or teamwork, you've done well. Messy 2nd half, but, all up well done. Our future looks to be in good hands.

Good win for St George, but a cracking shot at it by those young lads from Bleak City.
