I appreciate what you're saying TB, but to my mind the 6 again is usually a better way to penalise teams for infringements than a penalty is and this is evident by the fact that teams are scoring more. You can no longer just give away a penalty to slow down the game and this sorting out the differences between the teams.
The other thing I would point out is that the suggestion of scoring team kicking off is something that has been rearing its head every so often when we get one sided matches and was happening before 6 again rules were introduced laat season. It leads me to wonder whether receiving after a kickoff always has been too much of an advantage. That said, I wouldn't like to see a reversal, but I think I would be more content with a netball style alternating kickoffs.
I'm pretty sure you can avoid Hadley wherever you live with the feature called the off button. I don't mind him in small doses, good for a chuckle or two.
100% TB. You don't fix a mistake by laying another mistake on top. The six again rule has demonstrably had unintended and undesirable consequences. The solution is simple - wind back the rule. But this would require admitting the mistake...
Hadley just basically said “nup, you’re wrong. It’s all good”
To be fair the Panthers and Eels games were two of the better ones I saw over the weekend but they both resulted in 26 point whippings…

In the QRL, not nearly as many, but still some, the usual amount.

And, and, and …how about when you say ‘I’m down’ the tacklers have to stop.

Do NSW Cup and Qld Cup play by the same rules? How many blowouts in those games?

Fortunately where I live, my radio doesn’t pick up Hadley’s programme & I don’t have Foxtel so I am able to successfully avoid the egotistical twerp.

Hadley admitted his job is to stir up “controversy “ amongst the Diehards. He didn’t mention the turn-off to the casual observer.

I knew this retort was coming before I even commented. Which is why I thought long and hard about my comeback... Go the Broncos!!

Teams need time to adjust. How do we know this isn't a transition period and it will sort itself out with time?

Sin bins for high tackles, I constantly get told that's ruining games.

Won't matter if they drop it on the second tackle...

Totally different scenario of course.

While I agree with that, in the absence of PVL admitting his mistakes, scorer kicks off isn’t the worst outcome.

Or you know, maybe remove the rules that caused so many blowouts in the first place?

Didn't they do scorer kicks off in Super League in 1997? Don't think that helped the blowouts.

Dont joke too hard. You might be onto something. What about your ladder position equals your tackle set? As a broncos fan I could get behind that one.

Scrap every rule since 2000 and start again
