It could be all one-way traffic when the Bulls host the Chiefs in Round 6 of the Super Rugby season. Join The Roar for live scores of the match from 12:05am (AEDT).

The Bulls have gotten their season off to a splendid start, winning three of their first four, including victories over the Lions and Sharks in their last two starts.

The victory over two-time runners-up the Lions was particularly impressive, while their only loss came in their only trip outside of South Africa so far, when they fell to the Jaguares in Argentina.

Their forwards left a little to be desired on that occasion, but other than the one-off crash, but they have been very solid across the park, and are resembling a team who are going to give the finals a red-hot shake in a couple of months time.

Of particular note has been their defence, and while it wasn’t great against the Jaguares, the South African conference leaders have only let in 29 points throughout their trio of victories.

Their attack has also been strong, and the three victories have had an average margin of almost 30 points, so it has been complete domination on their part.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, have been one of the most disappointing teams so far this season, and that horrendous run was capped off in appalling fashion when they lost at home to the Sunwolves.

That beat-down at the hand of the struggling Japanese franchise was followed up by allowing 57 points to be scored against them by the Crusaders.

They were marginally better against the Hurricanes, managing to eke out a draw, but they now embark on a two-week road trip still searching for their first victory of the season, and with the finals already seemingly slipping away.

Prediction
The Bulls have been pretty solid so far this season. On the other hand, the Chiefs have not. This game being played in South Africa, it looks like the match should go in one direction and one direction only. The hosts should win, and win heavily.

Bulls by 25.

I think NZ teams especially their key players do not really care about SR this season. So, expect strange (read strategic) selections in Rugby Championship for NZ to build towards RWC ... why play with most heart now when the 6 weeks across late Aug to early Oct is all that anyone will remember of what you did in your career.

Come on bro, I’m as biased and as one-eyed as anyone when it comes to the Crusaders, but that wasn’t a ‘B’ team. Sure some players were rested but we were beaten by a smarter team. The Tahs just kept giving us the ball and making us play out of our half. We kept dropping it and made something like 18handling errors. We were out-thought and didn’t adapt. We have to take a loss like we take a win. Hopefully with class and respect.

Geez and at Loftus. Based on this methinks The Bulls should be culled with the Sunwolves and put us all out of our misery. Pretoria was in darkness this week with power outages, now it's gone dead quite as well.

Seems logical to me. You got the bonus points, with 4 minutes left, kill time with a penalty.. they are on away too..long flights ahead..

Chiefs are just too good a team to keep putting in poor performances. Well done!

That's a little stupid Faith anyday that a team with Whitelock, Taylor, Todd, Crotty ,Goodhue & Bridgein is a B team, would be interested to see A team!! And thats not to mention the topline non test players!

Why run your players into the ground when you got game tied up and you on a plane to Argentina in the morning, bloody good captaincy I thought.

Also why kick a penalty at 76 mins when you're 48-13 up. Bizarre.

I picked the Chiefs to win, but did not expect them to win by that much. Welcome back Chiefs..

What is with SR this year? Does Anyone care with the RWC? Seems like there is no form and teams are “turning” up week from week....
