The Sydney Roosters travel north to take on the Manly Sea Eagles to kick off Sunday’s program. Join The Roar for live scores from 4pm AEDT.

Josh Schuster will play in the NSW Cup after missing the trip to Vegas due to calf concerns but with Jason Saab (hamstring) sidelined for six weeks, Tommy Talau is in.

Spencer Leniu has been banned for an eight-game stretch after admitting he racially abused Spencer Leniu but the Roosters will be boosted by the return of fellow prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Dominic Young.

Prediction

The Sea Eagles and Roosters both shone in the Las Vegas sun but the visitors should have the edge back in Sydney. Roosters by 14

Did you see the Parra number 9 yesterday, that was every ptb… more even than Munster. I barely notice Teddy by comparison.

Brisbane inner north suburbs are pretty rough, more like The Warriors film, I'd imagine

Very early days for Manly based on history and math, and I’m not convinced the Roosters put their best foot forward today - a lot left in the tank for them. But I want to single out a former Manly player from years ago - JWH. That bloke always turns up for the Roosters as an absolute savage. Marvellous player,

Was hoping to be there, but had to settle for a trip to, of all places, Ballymore yesterday arvo.

Well done Manly and their fans for that brilliant turn up today. Looked really good and Brooks/DCE/Turbo combo will only get better. Nathan Brown looks like a really handy signing. For the Roosters....that's what you get for signing Dom Young. Give him back and all will be forgiven.

Well played Manly. Deserved to win it. Chooks - so disappointing. The only positive is that even though they were dreadful they hung in there and didn’t get blown away.
