Seriously is it always such doom and gloom. Beaten by a very good side - the flag favourites.

Yep. Awful. Who do they think they are – Waratahs?

Yep. Something like that. And failing into the bargain.

Yes. Finalists again in 2024, looks like.

RA already meddles through. It's their policy.

Unfortunately, one swallow does not make a summer. The occasional upset is always nice. Let's hope for more but it is not a train wreck if NZ teams win even all the SR games against Australian teams. The train wreck will be to jump the gun to find an easy fix. it is all fools gold (and the fools seems to be from the same geographical areas) as we still need to improve (and or re-establish) competitions that feed into Superugby to prepare our players for higher levels of rugby. The way the SR competition is set-up this will take years to decades to do. We just need to meddle through as neither NZR nor Australia have any feasible alternative than playing each other. Eventually we will either pull NZ down to our level or they will pull us up to their level.

Brumbies normally quite solid, tags won, reds can win,

Oh well, that’s 2 from 5 in my tipping so far

Not trying to be negative but how often have we seen a win like that only to go back to losing 20 straight.

Yeah that's fair enough.

I couldn’t care if they paint their nails, as long as their hard as nails and compete.
The Crow Flies Backwards
Roar Rookie
Didn’t see all of the game but to me it looked like they were scrumming for penalties, kicking for touch then doing a driving maul off the line out

We don’t have the quality of the players in depth and the coaching isn’t comparable clearest of most. Need to have super rugby AU and just have a cross super comp with NZ for a few games at the end of the season. We all know for many years we can’t compete. The Tahs win was an anomaly

It's a beautiful thing to see the tight five playing like loosies. (Chiefs)

Brumbies pack seems to of gone backwards this year. Something is not gelling there. Toole and Ikitau are great attacking threats. Chiefs just managed that 2nd half, a class above. They just ruled the breakdown and tempo of the game.

Do we really have the quality of players to go with NZ’s best? Is it really the coaching…? Lots of soul searching required. Let’s see how the Reds go.

He sounded absolutely gutted when they interviewed him earlier. Perhaps a feeling of being way out of depth.
