Someone must kick and at 80% plus. It really should be someone who kicks for their Super Team. Who has proven they can kick under pressure to win games.
If Carter is not kicking then he can’t be paired with McDermott. It has to be Lonergan.
Carter does look really good this year but ironically it’s playing in a minimal pressure environment because the Rebels are not expected to win or even exist next year. Under pressure in test matches he did not look so self assured. Mind you Dan Carter would have struggled under Jones’ hare brained coaxing set up.
We shall see against Wales.

Friend wanted more emphasis on skills and some of the Brumby Wallabies to offence at that. Them being champions and all.
Player power forced him out. Some of those illustrious Wallabies didn’t get their jerseys dirty for the rest of a woeful season.
Gitts admitted as much later. Others did not. Jake came in a gave them a dose of professionalism. The current Brumbies culture is the result.

Maybe, just maybe, their not superstar wingers. One has occasional quality carries but has long periods of not much. And is not a committed defender. The other is a rookie whose right now is over-hyped. Most of the forwards are Wallabies but too often were picked on upside and really impressive wallabies training camps rather than actual delivery.

He was good. Best I’ve seen from him. I was at the game and in code up view he seems little bigger this year. The issue with the young 10s is only Noah is a test quality place kicker at this stage. Have to be someone else. Lonergan perhaps.

Overseas players first loyalty is to their employers so availability will be an issue.
