The last-placed Adelaide Crows will look to continue their strong finish to the year against the Richmond Tigers at the Adelaide Oval. Join The Roar for live scores from 5:10pm (AEST).

After looking a certainty to be the first team to finish a season winless since the 1960s, the Crows have turned it around with three wins on the bounce. They haven’t been miraculous scraps either; they dominated Hawthorn from start to finish, kept GWS at arm’s length and buried Carlton in the first half to build real momentum at season’s end.

They face a much tougher task against Richmond, however. The Tigers look to be peaking at just the right time and looked primed for another assault on the premiership. Last week was arguably their best performance of the season, as they took the white-hot Cats to the sword in a 27-point statement win.

Despite their polar opposite fortunes since the 2017 grand final, it’s the Crows who surprisingly hold a 2-1 advantage in their head-to-head since. The Tigers haven’t knocked off Adelaide in South Australia since a ten-point win 2014.

What's your objective measure of fairness that makes this a "statement of fact"? You're entitled to your opinion, but it's just that - an opinion.

11 delistings is a scorched-earth approach to a rebuild if I've ever seen one.

The Crows would've found a way thru a good team (read 5th or lower) but not against a team at or close to their zenith. The Tiges came prepared.

Angela didn't say anything wrong. So I reckon it didn't fall on deaf ears. Seeing that it was her mother talking to her.

Agree, just luck sometimes when you come up against some teams. I’m sure Adelaide would have probably beaten most teams with their performance today.... a bright future
