The Power’s magic run came finally to an end,
Although at half time the Cats looked more than likely done
But they came out in the third, reversed that losing trend
When the final siren sounded they had won!

Accidently hit the player’s jaw,
Suspension by the MRC: “Fair bump!” Geelong fans cried
But Chappy won’t be playing any more.
Then Saturday night at ANZ Carlton played the Bloods
At quarter’s end Sydney snuck ahead.
But in the third the Blues were made to look like bloody duds
As the Swans ensured that Carlton’s run was dead.
The penultimate week is with us, Hawthorn plays Geelong
The Hawks will want to silence all the knockers,
And Sydney? Injuries and tired, make that trip to Perth – so long,
To play against the Purple Haze… Go Dockers!
So who will make the big one, be there that final week?
Can Hawthorn get there two years in a row?
Will Freo beat the Swans in Perth, as glory they do seek?
