During Round 23 we have seen some pretty good finishing by some of the NRL’s best wingers. With the change to the corner post rule, we have seen some astonishing tries.
It is amazing how players can get the ball down without going out these days. So here are some of the best finishers in the game.
5. Sisa Waqa. Solid player that gets the job done. Not very spectacular but never lets his team down.
4. Jorge Tafua. Pure power. Could run through a brick wall. It helps when you’re playing outside Keiran Foran and Steve Matai but he’s still one of the best finishers in the game.
3. Semi Radradra. He’s only played about a year in the NRL but has already put his hand up as one of the best at scoring tries. The Semi-trailer has got the strength and speed to beat all 13 players on his own.
2. Jason Nightingale. Florence always his body on the line for his team. Made himself look like a fool earlier in the year against the Warriors by landing on his head while scoring but that sums up his dedication and commitment. He is one of the game’s most underrated players and was crucial in the Dragons 2010 grand final win. Ultra reliable.
1. Brett Morris. Do I really have to say anything? One of the best finishers the game has ever seen. Can sniff out a try from nothing. His try against the Sharks in Round 3 and in Round 23 against the Raiders really shows why he’s one of the best finishers and wingers in the game.
