UFC 182: Jones vs Cormier will see two of the biggest rivals in mixed martial arts go toe-to-toe in one of the most anticipated fights in the history of the sport. Join us on The Roar from 11:00am AEDT for live updates and commentary of UFC 182.

Jon ‘Bones’ Jones (20-1) will put his UFC Light Heavyweight championship on the line when he goes up against the undefeated Daniel ‘DC’ Cormier (15-0) in the main event. It is no secret that these two men despise each other, both men exchanging fighting words, but it was when these two men engaged in a brawl during a face-off in a press conference that really made the world take notice.

Currently ranked as the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the world today at the young age of twenty-seven, and currently riding an eleven-fight win streak, Light Heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones will have the chance of cementing his number one pound-for-pound position when he steps into the octagon against Cormier. This is without a doubt the biggest fight of Jon Jones’ career.

Number one contender Daniel Cormier holds an undefeated professional record of fifteen wins with no losses. Cormier has been a dominant force in both the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions, and the Olympian wrestler will be looking to dethrone one of the most dominant champions in the history of mixed martial arts. With the help of training partners such as Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez, Cormier is more than confident he can take the belt away from Jon Jones.

“I guarantee you that I beat Jones.”

In the co-main event of UFC 182, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone (25-6, 1NC) will be looking to extend his winning streak to six and continue on from an absolutely dominant 2014 when he steps into the cage against undefeated prospect Myles ‘Fury’ Jury (15-0). Both men are fighting for a potential title shot, in what is shaped up to be a highly competitive contest.

The first pay-per-view card of 2015 looks like it could be one of the best of the year. Can Cormier dethrone one of the most dominant champions of all time when he challenges Jon Jones for the belt, or will the champion cement his place in history as the greatest mixed martial arts fighter we have today? Join us on The Roar from 1100 AEDT for live commentary to find out.
