Sandor Earl has hit out at ASADA and the NRL after Sydney Roosters prop Martin Kennedy was issued with an infraction notice by rugby league’s governing body.
Kennedy faces a two-year ban for allegedly using banned substances.
The 26-year-old is likely to be provisionally suspended by the NRL on Thursday ahead of a hearing before the game’s anti-doping tribunal.
Former Roosters, Canberra and Penrith outside back Earl was issued an infraction notice in August 2013 following his admission to the use and trafficking of peptide CJC-1295.
Earl accepted the immediate provisional suspension, but has still not appeared before a tribunal 19 months later.
“Another sad day where a player underfunded and under resources that can’t fight back will be rubbed through the mud unfairly and unjustly,” Earl wrote on Twitter of Kennedy’s plight.
“The NRL and all parties are in clear contempt of the AAT (Administrative Appeals Tribunal) and release any information in anyway because they are the bigger fish.
“They are unfair unjust and embarrassing when will the NRL and other agencies have to answer to someone.
“Or will it take someone with a million dollar bank account to fight for what is fair. No excuses no sympathy for wrongdoings but what a joke of a system and policies!!”
